This apartment in Venice was very close to the train station and near the city central. It is up many flights of steps which we knew and that was not an issue. The bedding was average for the price; almost like hostel bedding with a simple sheet small blanket and not great pillow. The issue we had was the water and water pressure. It was inconsistent with the heat and sometimes it was hot and then it would get really cold. You had to go to the laundry room and flip on the switch to make sure it was on. It was adequate but do not expect to get a good warm shower with decent water pressure especially if there are more than two people in your group. Also, the wash machine did not work. I am sure it had something to do with the water system. They were willing to look at it, but we did not want them in the house when we were not there.
