This property is huge. It’s quirky and traditional, some areas have been modernised some are in need of renovation. I would love to know some of its history, it even has a medieval tower in the grounds! You have to be fit and mobile to access and appreciate this house, it is up steep cobbled narrow streets not accessible with an average car. Inside there are 70 steps and in the grounds 150 steps. We stayed a week and every day I spotted something I hadn’t seen before, furniture, a painting even rooms! The views from the upper parts of the garden are stunning and well worth the effort to get there. A two minute walk away is a lovely restaurant called Home Restaurant Palanzo, lovely food and great value . Near where you park the car a lovely little bar, open all day, serves great coffee and croissants.
