Casa Palana has been uniquely tailored to provide our 'Adults Only' guests with the ultimate in luxury! Accommodation comprises of 3 double bedrooms, 2 marble finished bathrooms (one en-suite), a comfortable, spacious lounge, a bespoke fitted kitchen with built in appliances, large utility area housing a modern American fridge/freezer and a bright, sizable dining room with french style doors leading out onto the beautifully kept cactus gardens and extensive patio/terrace. Externally, under a wooden pergola is a cosy seating area offering access to the stunning 10m x 5m individually designed, solar heated swimming pool. For added relaxation, an invigorating 6 person Jacuzzi/Hot tub at a constant 38 degrees, can be found surrounded by a screened area of pretty Buganvilla plants. The owners, who have lived locally for over 11 years, personally manage and maintain Casa Palana - therefore, they will be on hand to welcome you to their beautiful villa and offer guests their extensive knowledge of the breathtaking island. A complimentary welcome pack including a chilled bottle of Spanish Cava will be awaiting your arrival! Private airport transfers are available to guests upon request.

It is a residential area with permanent living and holiday homes. Faro Park has some lovely restaurants and bars and 2 smaller supermarkets and a good bakery.
It is a 5 minutes walk to the seaside promenade.

Getting there

DIRECTIONS TO VILLA FROM ARRECIFE AIRPORT (Journey time from the airport to Playa Blanca is approx 30 – 40 minutes)

As you leave the airport car park you will turn left at the exit and follow the sign T2- Arrecife/Yaiza, this will take you out of the airport complex and the road goes around to the right, down to a roundabout – continue around the roundabout and follow the sign Arrecife/Yaiza. You will pass the slip road to Arrecife on your right but you will continue straight on following signs Yaiza/Playa Blanca – this road takes you underneath the main North-South road called the LZ2. Follow the road which takes quite a sharp circular turn to your right and loops clockwise up onto the LZ2 heading south (airport and sea will now be on your left).
You are now on the LZ2, the main route to the South of the island and the resort of Playa Blanca (approx 30km)
Continue to follow the signs to Yaiza/Playa Blanca

After passing the town of Tias, ensure you keep in the left hand lane of the dual carriageway to stay on the correct road (if you find that you have exited by mistake and on the road to Conil, carry on down to the next island which should be signposted back onto to LZ2/Yaiza/Playa Blanca)
Continuing on the LZ2 you will pass through the village of Macher, then passing the Lanzarote a Caballo on the right. The next village will be Uga, which is on the right of the LZ2, shortly after which you will approach a large roundabout on the outskirts of the village of Yaiza. Keep in the right hand lane and continue on the LZ2, towards Playa Blanca, passing the signs El Molino De Yaiza. You will now enter the outskirts of the Timanfaya National Park, seen to the right hand side of the road and the black volcanic lava fields will form the scenery for the next few kilometres. The LZ2 takes you directly into Playa Blanca.

As you approach Playa Blanca, the first roundabout has a pretty windmill in the centre and a Cepsa Petrol Station (24hr) on the opposite side, - at this roundabout, take the second right hand turn signposted Faro de Pechiguera/Rubicon Hotel/Urbanisation. Continue along this dual carriageway passing the HL Playa Blanca Hotel on the right and the Corbeta Hotel on the left. Continue for approximately 2km, passing Jardines Del Sol Complex and then the Alyssa Complex on your right. The Rubicon Hotel will then be on your left and the road continues down hill. Continue downhill, across the first mini roundabout and onto the next mini roundabout where you will turn left into the Faro Park Residential area. Continue to the next mini roundabout, Faro de Pechiguera – the lighthouse, will be in front of you, at this mini roundabout turn right and then continue across the next two mini roundabouts, passing the local supermarkets and restaurants on your left. After the second mini roundabout, take the next right turn into Faro Park Residential (this is entrance number 10 ). After entering Faro Park, continue along and take the 3rd left turning where Casa Palana, villa no.49, is located, 3rd Villa on the left.

Wonderful stay

We had a very relaxing time during our stay in Casa Palana. Paul & Cerys have created a lovely holiday home which is immaculate throughout. The Villa is just as described and everywhere was spotless. Amazing villa

This is just the most gorgeous villa , spent a week celebrating my friends 50th birthday , the villa is very well kitted out so no need to go out and eat if you just want to chill out and relax , hosts paul & Cerys always on hand to help should you need them , Prosecco chilling too for our arrival which was a lovely gesture , can’t wait to return

The perfect place to recharge your batteries

The villa exceeded our expectations, the pool, the hot tub, the outdoor living space, the really well equipped house and the peaceful and relaxed location. The property is exactly as described and as per the photos on this site. It is highly maintained by the owners to a top standard. Paul and Cerys are excellent hosts from start to finish, who are on hand for any issues, no matter how small and will ensure you'll have an amazing holiday.

Quality Villa in a Quiet Residential Area

Casa Palana is a very comfortable villa in a quiet residential area. It is maintained to a very high standard by the owners Cerys and Paul. We have just returned from a six week stay, and have booked to return for eight weeks during the same months in 2018. Having spent the last 30yrs holidaying in these types of villas in Lanzarote, Casa Palana will take some beating.

a great find

Fantastic from start to finish, Paul and Cerys were so easy to deal with. We took advantage of their airport pick up service which was great and made it very stress free getting to the villa. Once there it was home from home, a great standard throughout and everything you need. Bus stop, local shops and restaurants were only a couple of minutes walk and very good, we would recommend Port of call and also the Italian we enjoyed good meals there. Thanks for a great stay

perfect villa

A beautiful well maintained and presented villa. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. In a very quiet location but only two minutes easy stroll to a good selection of shops,bars and restaurants. excellent pool and hot tub also maintained to a high standard. Owners are on hand if any problems arise(we had none) but not intrusive. We have already booked again for next year,this time for longer.

Lovely relaxing week

We had a lovely and very relaxing week. The villa was exactly as specified, extremely clean, lovely pool & hot tub and had everything we were after. Weather was perfect. A couple of minutes from a lovely coast walk and a stones throw from a couple of shops and a half dozen restaurants, where the food & service was good. Can't think of anything that could have been an improvement other than staying another week.

Couldn't ask for anything more!

I wish there was the option to rate it as a 6 star! The villa itself is stunning and immaculate throughout, located in a very nice residential area, short walk to shops and very nice restaurants. The outdoor area is simply beautiful, with a fantastic pool and hot tub, and very comfy sunbeds, perfect for relaxing in the sun. I cannot fault the villa in any way and hope to return again in the future. A huge thank you to Paul and Cerys for making our stay so enjoyable and for making the villa a true home from home.

A lovely villa

Casa Palana was one of the best holiday lets we have had . The villa was furnished to a high standard with a number of homely touches to make our stay extremely pleasant . It was a joy to relax on the terrace and patio areas overlooking the attractive pool bordered by a pleasing variety of cactus plants . The hot tub was also much enjoyed along with the pool . The Faro Park residential area was very quiet and it was a pleasure to walk past the other villas to the mini markets and the local restaurants where we had a number of enjoyable meals . We especially enjoyed eating out at Sebastyan's restaurant overlooking Natura beach .

Casa Palana

We have just come to the end of an 8 week stay in Casa Palana, our second stay in this comfortable villa during the past twelve months. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place to escape to from the English winter. As was the case during our last stay here this villa ticks all the right boxes to ensure an enjoyable, leisurely holiday. There are a good selection of bars and restaurants to visit in the evening, and all no more than 5 minutes walk away. Our only complaint is we have had to give the door key back to Cerys and Paul at the end of our stay, but only until next winter when we are booked to return.

Fantastic Villa

Had the most wonderful relaxing 12 day holiday at the stunning Casa Palana. Cleanliness is a deal breaker for us and this villa is the cleanest villa we have ever stayed in. It is furnished both inside and out to the highest standard with quality fixtures and fittings throughout and also has the largest and cleanest pool we've ever seen. The hot tub was also a huge bonus and we were very grateful for the lovely welcome pack including beers and a gorgeous bottle of chilled Cava awaiting us on our arrival. It is evident the owners Paul and Cerys, take a great pride in their beautiful villa. We found the location of the villa was extremely quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes walk to a couple of small supermarkets and a some nice restaurants. Paul and Cerys are very helpful and easy to deal with, from start to finish and even popped in on our second day to ask if everything was ok. Hope to return to Casa Palana very soon.

We will be back!

We have just returned from 2 glorious weeks staying in Casa Palana and can honestly say it is one of the nicest villas we have ever stayed in. The villa itself is very well appointed and is exactly as described on this site, what sets it apart is the quality of the fixtures and fittings the superb pool and hot tub and the not so obvious but equally important things like fans in all 3 bedrooms for those nights when having the windows open simply isn't enough (incidentally all the windows in the villa have shutters with insect mesh screens on them so the windows can be left open without the creepy crawlies coming in to join you), 2 hair dryers and the superb water filter and ice maker, saving you time and money on bottled water. A five minute walk from the villa there is a row of excellent restaurants a couple of takeaways and 2 little supermarkets. (don't be put off by the exterior appearance, several of the restaurants here are some of the highest rated in Lanzarotte!) The service from Paul and Cerys was second to none from our first contact when booking right through to returning our breakage deposit literally as soon as we set foot back in the UK. They were helpful, approachable, informative and a pleasure to deal with. In my opinion there are simply not enough villas delivering the kind of quality we expect for the money the owners are charging to stay there, however this cannot be said of Casa Palana in a sea of mediocrity it really is a cut above the rest.

Exceptionally well appointed and maintained villa

We have stayed in a number of villas over the last five years around the Playa Blanca area and Casa Palana is easily top of our list. The location is quiet and relaxing: a mature development containing both residential and holiday rental villas, a communal pool and there is an excellent range of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We rented a car since the main town, with its larger supermarket, is a few miles away, although there appears to be a good local bus service. Casa Palana is impeccably maintained by Paul and Cerys, the owners, and it really shows. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with high quality appliances and plenty of glasses, serving dishes, cutlery and chinaware. It was especially nice to have chilled filtered water from the large fridge/freezer. All of the beds have Tempur mattresses and quality linens and the towels provided (both for the pool and the bathrooms) were also great quality. The internet and streaming TV service worked very well. The solar heated pool and hot tub were serviced twice a week by Paul himself and proved to be an ideal way to cool off during the day and relax in the early evening. The gas bbq was a nice surprise and we made use of it pretty frequently during our stay. We were especially grateful for the welcome pack upon our arrival: tea bags, beer, prosecco, biscuits etc In short this is perhaps the ideal villa for adult visitors looking for a trouble free, comfortable and relaxing break. Many thanks Paul and Cerys, I am sure we will be back.....

Relaxing time in a well equipped peaceful villa

Casa Palana was the perfect location for us to unwind with the privacy of our own pool, hot tub and poolside sunbathing terrace. The Villa and outside space was spacious with more than enough room for the two of us and easily enough for 5/6 people. There were lots of local restaurants and a handful of shops about 3 minutes walk away that made the balance between self catering and eating out a lot easier. You can get by without a car here but having a car opens up the whole island. There was space for one car outside the villa but there was also some street parking nearby if there were multiple cars in your party. The pool was great. It is solar heated by solar panels heating the water but the breeze did make it a little chilly at times but you’d get that anywhere on the island really. The hot tub was always warm and is in its own private walled off area which makes relaxing easy. The bed was the most comfortable that we’ve had on any Spanish holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and the bbq was a nice touch as well. There is no air conditioning but all the windows can be left open with secure shutters with insect netting on and there are multiple fans for guest use. We needed to contact the management company once in order to resolve an issue with the fans which was dealt with extremely quickly. The management company is the old owners Paul and Cerys who were lovely and very knowledgeable about the Villa and the area. I’d highly recommend Casa Palana to others and would be happy to be contacted for questions from other potential guests

Fabulous!

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Casa Palana, and we honestly couldn't recommend this villa enough. We travelled in a group of 3, and found the villa was perfect for our ideal holiday scenario. From the moment we made the booking, Cerys provided first class customer service - quick responses, lots of info, and exceeded our expectations with the detail in her answers to our many questions. We opted to book the taxi service that Cerys and Paul provide, and Paul was very friendly and informative about the local area. Paul came to check on the pool and hot tub over the week which never felt intrusive - more like an old friend turning up for a chat every now and again! The villa is lovely - the interior is immaculate and the beds very comfortable; we loved the big fridge that provides ice and water, and found this to be a real bonus. We took coffee pods with us, and found the coffee machine very easy to use - a perfect accompaniment to the great croissants sold at the local bakery (Moka). The pool is simply gorgeous and we loved the seat at the deeper end. We enjoyed a nightly hot tub with a glass of fizz (a real touch of luxury!), and really liked the way this was slightly secluded. There is a row of bars and restaurants a 5 min walk away, although to be honest we were very happy to use the BBQ and make the most of the villa. The off licence there is a real find, with cold bottles of cava and beer for very reasonable prices (under 6 EUR for a bottle of Frexinet certainly put a smile on our faces). We walked into Playa Blanca along the coastal road, which was very pretty, and went to Marina Rubicon several times. We also used the very reliable bus service and the local taxi company with no issues at all. Behind the row of restaurants on the front at Playa Blanca is a Spar shop with a fresh meat counter - this is where we ended up buying meat for the BBQs. However for everything else, the supermarket near to the villa was great. All in all, a very relaxing and stress-free holiday at a villa that has great facilities and some very luxurious features - thank you so much Cerys and Paul, we had a great time and hope to come back again soon!

Spacious, peaceful, clean and well made out.

We stayed at Casa Palana as a last minute get away for some winter sun in early December. We had a great stay, enjoyed the space and peace and quiet. The villa is very clean and well equipped with everything you could desire for a comfortable stay. Everything was modern and worked well. Whilst the villa caters for up to six (3 double beds) we were just two and had masses of space. I noted there were only sun lounging facilities for up to 4 people - but maybe this is something that could be addressed if the villa had more than 4 sunbathers staying at any one time. The pool is heated via a solar system, which in the winter months when the sun shines less gives a "refreshing" pool temperature, we jumped into cool down briefly but spent more time warming up in the hot tub! No doubt in the summer its a little more pleasant. The pool and hot tub are meticulously well kept by the owner whom came round to check on the various chemistries a couple of times in the week we were there. The booking process was fairly painless and all dealt with efficiently with the owner on-line, damage deposit was returned on the day we went home, very efficiently. The Villa itself is located on a residential estate known as Faro Park, this is a clean and tidy (and finished!) estate. We found the estate to be very quiet in the winter with no noise from the estate/access roads. It is a 5 minute walk to the local shops and restaurants/bars - a few were closed in December for holidays. Whilst a car might not be essential if you're happy lazing by the pool for 7 days, if you want to nip into Playa Blanca of an evening it will make your life easier (10-15min drive). Walking via the coastal path from the end of the street makes the centre of Playa a 4 mile walk. From the lighthouse the seafront is largely paved all the way into town (ideal for cycling with kids). Whilst we don't go holiday to watch TV its worth noting access to UK TV comes via internet through an Android based streaming media box - if this sentence reads gobbledegook to you then you'll find it fairly fiddly to navigate/use - moreover these boxes are at the whim of the various providers whom try to block access to certain channels if access is attempted from non UK networks - i.e. you might not be able to watch you latest soap episode in the villa. Bring some DVDs instead. In summary we would recommend Casa Palana as an excellent place to stay and would return.
