The ‘Villa Poggio al Lago’ is located in a unique setting above Stresa in the serene hills of Magognino. This elegant and spacious vacation villa (400 m²) blends timeless Italian elegance with modern comforts and can very comfortably sleep 11 people in 6 airconditioned bedrooms:
- The ground floor is composed of a cosy living room with plush seating, a TV, and a cozy lounge area by the fireplace. Dining room with large wooden table. Fully equipped kitchen with access to the outdoor patio and garden. On the backside is a charming conservatory ideal to enjoy morning breakfast together. Bathroom with small tub and with washer and dryer. On this level is also an bedroom with two single beds, and ensuite bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower.
- On the first floor are four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and with windows overlooking the lake: 3 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom. Three bathrooms with bathtub and overhead shower and one bathroom with shower.
- On the second floor is a bedroom with double bed, and private little terrace with views of the lake, and bathroom with shower.
- The basement floor includes an entertainment area with billiards table, ping pong, and table football.

Surrounded by 7 hectares of pristine gardens, the property offers complete privacy, tranquility, and an immersive connection with nature, while being just a short drive from the lakeside vibrant towns.
The meticulously landscaped gardens boast the most impeccable views of the lake from every angle of the property. In front of the home is a charming patio and a well-kept lawn with fragrant flowers and plants, olive and lemon trees. Nestled into the hillside you’ll find the swimming pool area surrounded by a wooden deck with sun loungers and parasols, as well as a changing room, shower and toilet.

The wonderful holiday Villa Poggio al Lago is ideally situated in the peaceful village of Magognino between Belgirate (3,5 km) and Stresa (5 km). Stresa is the most famous tourist town of Lake Maggiore with charming cafés, boutique shops and top-tier restaurants, and a beautiful lakeside promenade. From there you can hop on any ferry boat and explore Lago Maggiore, its magical islands, and the natural splendor of Italy and even Switzerland. Easy one day trips are possible to the cities of Milan and Turin, the famous Piedmont vineyards, the romantic Lake Orta, or trekking in the nearby mountain valleys.

RENTAL CONDITIONS - VILLA POGGIO AL LAGO:

Water, gas, electricity, air conditioning (bedrooms), smart TV, wireless internet, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, baby bed and high chair, billiards, ping pong, table football, garden, barbecue, swimming pool (12 x 6m; max depth 2 m - salted water, no chlorine), garage and outside parking

Extra to be paid before arrival:
- Security deposit by bank transfer to the owner (refundable): 1500 euro

Extra to be paid cash upon arrival:
- Cleaning (obligatory): 350 euro per week
- Bed linen, bathroom and pool towels (obligatory): 165 euro
- Heating (seasonal): according to consumption
- Pets allowed (upon prior request only): 10 euro per day (maximum one pet)
- Tourist tax: to check upon arrival if applicable

Note:
- On-site gardener: A discreet caretaker lives in a separate house at the bottom of the fenced garden (out of sight) and is responsible for daily pool maintenance and garden care.
- Swimming pool seasonally opened approximately from mid-May to end September; contact us for the exact dates before booking.
- Parties or events not allowed.
