There was an oversite and the unit had not been cleaned. But the manager was swift to rectify the situation and offered an apology small compensation. The kitchen was quite well equipped but needs more cutlery and dishes. The hot tub was a lovely spot to relax in the evening after exploring all day. Generally aovely spot. We would go back here agai .

We were rather disgusted upon our arrival. You cannot clean a tub that has jets, they harbour bacteria so we only used the shower in the upstairs bath.The shower downstairs had black mold in it. The upstairs bedroom closet could only be opened if you moved the bedside table away from the bed. Also there was a open hole, to God knows what, as the wooden access door was broken off and we had to shove a suitcase up against it to keep it closed. The smaller bedroom didn't have a proper bedside table big enough for bedside essentials. Neither room had a table or stool to set your suitcase up so they went on the floor. Only 1 T.V. controller worked. The guest rooms closet was locked. We were travelling with family from the UK and it was embarassing and so very disappointing. The biggest disappointment for us was the hot tub was disgusting with brown foam floating in it so again we couldn't use that. It was too depressing there so we just slept showered, did not use the kitchen other than for coffee.

We loved the location, and the home was very comfortable as for were beds. However, the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade as there was mould in both shower downstairs bathtub upstairs and absolutely no storage downstairs in the bathroom. The second bedroom also did not have a mirror or closet that was usable. All in all we enjoyed our stay thank you so much.

Fantastic Stay

Amazing place to stay, super cozy and clean. Loved having the hot tub on the patio and the area was very convenient getting in to town and visiting Tofino.

Beautiful, spacious, cozy and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would/will 100% book again! The king size bed was super comfy, the hot tub on the deck was relaxing with a lovely view of the inlet through the trees, and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the necessities for cooking and eating in. Loved it!!

Beautiful place to stay

The cabin is in a great location, and is perfect for people who want to hike/walk in the Ucluelet area. Fantastic hot tub and comfortable rooms. Well equipped for cooking our own meals. We loved it! Small suggestions: the addition of recycling bins is needed so we can separate our trash, and a tissue box would be lovely. Thanks for a fantastic few days!

Great Place

The cabin was perfect for our stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was clean and there was enough towels for showering and the hot tub. The only suggestion I could make is hooks in the bathroom to hang a robe and in the second bedroom as the closet wasn't useable.

September Trip To Ucluelet

We (a family group of 4 - ages from mid 50's to 80) had 4 nights here in mid September. The cottage was exactly as advertised: very well equipped; comfortable beds; great location for walking the "lighthouse trail" & reasonably close to necessary shopping. Communication with Brock was excellent - anything we asked was instantly dealt with whilst still maintaining privacy. We would highly recommend this as a place to base a west coast experience - Ucluelet, Tofino & the Pacific Rim National Park in between are all within easy reach. Given the relatively high prices for this whole region, we found this property to be good value & would book here again if we were to return.
