Welcome to Bear Coast, a peaceful 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin perched above Spring Cove Inlet. With a hot tub, spacious deck, and all the comforts of home, this is your family's perfect west coast retreat.

Great spot to explore from, and very close to a beautiful beach and trail system. House had everything we needed and the hot tub was a total bonus. Ucluelet was charming and friendly. Fun family vacation!

This was an incredible property, it was exactly what was needed to disconnect. The accommodations were more than adequate for what we needed. It was amazing in the morning and evening, and the hot tub was a total bonus.

A cozy stay in Ukee!

We had a great two nights at the bear coast cabin. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed from extra linens, lots of kitchenware, and soaps. The cabin is tucked away and quite private, the area was very quiet and peaceful we enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub! Easy check in and check out instructions.

Cozy little cottage with lovely hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked albeit quite small. . . A bear was wandering around the cottages during our stay - actually on the porch! It’s the time of year - but families need to be aware.

Nicely decorated, clean, tidy, private. Kitchen cupboards fully stocked with dishes and shelves labelled for where to store the items. Hot tub was lovely and clean with cheerful towels ready to use. Nice wooden chest stocked full of games. Plugging in our EV was an added bonus.

Perfect get away

We traveled here from Texas to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and this place delivered. We arrived in the middle of the night (book your ferry at least a month early or you'll be stuck with the super later or early ferry) so didn't really get a chance to see the property until we woke up. We stepped out the back door and a bald eagle was sitting in a tree behind the property and a banana slug was eating grass in the yard. It was awesome! The owners have lots of small details that make for a great trip including beach towels for the hot tub, pebble identification literature, etc...There were plenty of kitchen tools to cook and all beds were comfortable. The hot tub was a great way to end the night. The location was easily accessible to a hiking trails and beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Serene getaway -sister trip

We had a fabulous trip and loved our stay at the cabin. The hot tub was a highlight and enjoyed each morning and evening. The beds were so cozy and comfortable. The cabin is clean and a fantastic location if you are looking for a peaceful trip and still close enough to amenities. We will always choose to stay in Ucluelet as it’s not as busy as Tofino. If you are looking for the perfect quiet get away book this cozy cabin. I would definitely book again !

Exceptionally Quiet.

This cabin was very quiet and clean. The location was perfect for all amenities. The view in the back was beautiful and serene. I would highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bear Coast! We wanted to spend a special fathers day away from home with our 2 kids (6,2) and this place did not disappoint. It was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were super comfy and the hot tub was enjoyed multiple times a day. We will definitely be returning (although we're now looking at buying our own cabin to enjoy more frequently throughout the year).

Cozy Vacation Rental

Very well organized vacation rental. Really helpful advice on what to do while in Ucluelet. Nice history of the cabin provided in their information binder. Cozy living spaces and the best beds, pillows, sheets, comforters I have ever slept on. Seriously so comfy!

Cozy and quiet

We really enjoyed our time at the Bear Cabin. It was so cozy and comfortable. The beds were great and the cabin was well supplied with everything ( and more) that you could need. The deck and hot tub were fantastic to relax. The area is so quiet and it was great waking up to the birds chirping every morning. Great getaway

My family and I stayed and had such a great time. Beautiful location, great view. We spent our time outside in Ucluelet and in Tofino (short drive). Would recommend and stay again!

Cozy, well equipped cabin in a great location. Definitely appreciated the hot tub after exploring the trails! My 13 year old described it as 'cool and vibey'!

Vacation Retreat

Property is as described. Beautiful and private with partial ocean view from the back deck. It is fully equipped with everything you need. A wonderful home to relax and unwind from the crazy world. There were even deer in the compound. The only reason I gave a 4 for cleanliness and maintenance is because there were clothes left in the dresser from a previous tenant and the garbage can doesn't work well. I would stay there again in a second. Thank you!

Nice cozy cabin

Enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. Was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with dishware and other items... everything we needed. Host was easily reachable and very responsive, something we appreciate when visiting an area we're not used to. We had trouble locating the towels but later find ample towels and bedding stored away from view. Initially didn't plan to use the hot tub but after a late return from a long day of hiking, it was the PERFECT way to end the day! Would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived the cabin smelt so clean and everything was in proper order. The landlord is amazing and sends little check in emails to let you know how they want the place kept. Would recommend property.
