We leave antibacterial Spic N Span, anti-bacterial hand soap and windex for guests who want to clean during their stay. Finding cleaning products during this pandemic is difficult so we do the best that we can to leave products for the guests to use after we clean and sanitize the cabin. Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry about the fireplace. We did ask the guest to check a few things on the fireplace as that is much quicker than having someone come out. He did not call us back to let us know that he couldn't get the pilot lit or we would have gone out to get it started for them.

Unfortunately someone did bring bedbugs in to our property. We inspect for them in between every stay and really don't know if maybe this person brought them in because we did not see them prior to their stay. As they also stated, they checked for bugs and didn't see them either. We did give them a nice size discount and also had to pay a professional service lots of $$$$ to get rid of the bedbugs that were brought in to our property. This is just part of being an owner so we do everything we can to make sure that this doesn't happen and have done everything we can to be sure it doesn't happen again. The cabin has been treated twice and we have had the bedbug dogs in to sniff out anything left behind. The cabin has been given a clean bill of health so more worries. As far as this guest is concerned, we did give a discount and offered to do whatever we could to make them comfortable. This guest appeared to be worried about germs more than anything else and chose to disinfect and decontaminate which does nothing to get rid of bedbugs.
