Parking was ok. The neighborhood was kind of sketchy at night, people rifling through dumpsters, loud apartments on either side with littered parking areas. The property itself has two good parking spaces.The house interior is nice, clean, comfortable. Plenty of space for the family and cozy rooms, beds and plenty of good quality towels.Overall it was a great stay. The only improvement would be location, but it was definitely a standout stay for the area!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described. Plenty of space for a large family, good value, and in a convenient location close to everything. Comfortable stay overall and a solid choice for groups.

Overall decent place to stay parking a bit of challenge as streets are one ways and streets are condensed. But house nice, had a lot of stairs.

Wonderful unit, within walking distance of anything in Uptown. Great character!

The unit was clean and had all the amenities you'll need for your stay. There is a space for everyone in your party. We had a boardgame night and were delighted with the table and chairs, there was room for all of us! There were even board games here for us to play, but we did bring a bunch of our own. It was convenient to get to all the restaurants and activities we had planned, jothing longer than a 10 minute walk. Overall, a great experience and many memories we will cherish for many years. We will be back

Not what we expected

Unfortunately this location was not what we expected. First of all, we had no idea this location was on the 2nd floor. Thankfully we managed but what if we couldn’t. I saw in another review that it was in the description but it was not. The location itself is less than to be desired, there was garbage all over the neighborhood (I understand the owner has no control over that) and the back alley for parking was a revolving door of traffic. The walls are very thin so you can hear a lot of outside noise. However, the proximity to many hot spots is convenient. The house was always sooo cold too with very unregulated heat. One minute we were freezing but then certain rooms were hot. The front bunk bed room was incredibly cold. The little ones slept there the first night but by the morning it was so cold for them that they couldn’t sleep there the next night. Maybe 60 degrees. Due to the busy neighborhood we had parking problems because neighbors kept taking the parking spots. The owner was contacted and was incredibly kind and responsive. Taking care of the problem as soon as possible. There are a lot of sleeping locations but too small of a living room for guests.to congregate. Love that the VRBO supplies cookware/utensils but it quite old. We wanted to save some leftovers but were unable to since there was nothing with lids to do so. So I recommend a set of bowls or Tupperware with covers. All in all, it all worked out for what we needed.

Wonderful and cozy home with amazing hosts!

I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible vacation! With a big family to consider, finding the perfect home was a must, and this place exceeded all my expectations! Not only is it huge and spacious enough for everyone to spread out comfortably, but it’s also absolutely stunning! The character of the home creates such a warm and cozy atmosphere that you can’t help but feel right at home. The parking situation is a dream—off the street and right behind the house, making it super easy to unload all the kids, luggage, and groceries! And let’s not forget the hosts—they were phenomenal, always quick to respond and incredibly attentive! I can’t recommend this home enough!

No where did it say there were stairs involved.

Sketchy area. First look upon arrival was a sad backyard that needed lawn maintenance big time. We didn’t know we were on the second floor, which I would’ve never booked because my Mom and her boyfriend are in their late 80’s. Very disappointing!!

Great for big groups

Enjoyed our stay here overall! Host was very responsive and kind :). It’s a large apartment with multiple rooms which was nice for our group of 5 but could have easily fit 10-15! We all had our own space. The location is not the best, but we never felt unsafe. It is a second floor unit

The property and suite are excellent and was exactly as expected. It is a great place for a larger group. The neighborhood itself had us looking over our shoulder however. All went well in the end and no issues though.

Girls weekend

The house was older but very functional for our party of 10. Some of the younger girls were concerned about the location but we did not have any problems with our two night stay. My only issue was yard maintenance - a lawn mower would not have gone astray.

Big old house and great property manager

I rented the house for a short visit to see my family. This was my second time in Minnesota. The property manager was fantastic. She answered all my questions promptly and answered my call at 9PM when I had an electrical problem. Getting in and out of the house was easy, and settling down was a breeze.The house was nice and big, but was really old and needed some TLC. There were some nice food options only a couple blocks away. But the neighbor was not the safest for walking. The rental was only for the second and 3rd floor which I wasn't really aware until after I booked the house. I needed a house with 4+ bedrooms I was conscious there will be lots of talking and laughing. I'm glad the first floor neighbors didn't complain.

Fantastic Experience!

We were very happy with our stay here. We had 5 teenagers and 3 adults and all found it very comfortable. There was ample space for all of us. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. We were there for a Mall of America trip and didn’t get much opportunity to explore the neighborhood, however we appreciated that the hosts had a binder of local suggestions waiting for us. The check in and check out process were very easy and convenient as well. When we ran into one minor issue the host was super responsive in correcting it right away. To put it simply, very friendly host with a great property. I would definitely recommend and I would stay here again.

Milwaukee Brewers vs Minnesota Twins weekend

We had 4 couples stay from Friday to Monday and attended 2 baseball games. Our place was very spacious, clean, comfortable beds, good location.
