The 'Houten Boshuis' has recently been built and is made of cedar wood. It is the sister of the 'Betonnen Boshuis' and 'Stalen Boshuis' and is located in a wooded area near Breda. From home, you can enjoy lovely walks and bike rides. The owners have a passion for spatial design and art. The architecture and interior design make use of wood, concrete, and glass, combined with modern comfort. The result is surprising and unique, harmonizing with the rural surroundings.
The 'Houten Boshuis' is located on the Bergvliet estate, which also features an 18-hole golf course and the new luxury spa-wellness resort Spa One. The house is not part of the recreation park Bergvliet villas, but is a private home situated on a different section of the estate. The large windows provide a beautiful view of the spacious terrace with a covered hot tub. From the house, you can enjoy lovely walking and cycling routes through the Vrachelse heath. The golf course also has a restaurant where you can go for drinks, lunch, or dinner. Want to explore the area? The gastronomic city of Breda is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Efteling amusement park or a boat trip in the National Park de Biesbosch are also nearby.

Holiday home layout

The spacious house is completely on one level, without thresholds, and is equipped with a poured floor with underfloor heating. Entrance with wardrobe and toilet. The living room has a modern decor with contemporary furniture such as a lounge sofa, fireplace (firewood available for a fee), flat-screen TV, and sound system (music channels and playback via smartphone). Along the entire length is a glass facade making the living area wonderfully bright. In nice weather, the doors can be opened to the terrace. On the terrace, there is a concrete dining table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs.
Open kitchen with a large work surface, ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, large refrigerator, small freezer, oven, Nespresso machine (bring your own pods) and Quooker. Wooden dining table with 4 chairs. The terrace at the front borders the kitchen, where the sliding door can also be opened, making it a lovely spot to enjoy the morning sun, with 2 chairs available. The first bedroom has a double bed and a safe. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in (rain) shower, double sink, and toilet. The second bedroom is accessible via the terrace and is located in a separate space. It features twin beds (single mattresses and duvets) and hanging/storage space for your clothing. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in (rain) shower, double sink, and toilet. Between the living room and the second bedroom, there is a covered area with a high table and chairs, a nice spot to enjoy a drink.
There is also a storage room with a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board available. The hot tub is located on a covered terrace (you need to fill it yourself upon arrival). There is wood available (for a fee) to heat the hot tub. The hot tub cannot be used in frost.

Parking is available by the house.

There is a charging point for electric cars in the general parking area of the Bergvliet estate.

The house is located in a wooded area, allowing you to experience nature up close. It is equipped with all possible luxuries, but mother nature also provides sounds from the forest, insects in or around the house, and grass blades between the tiles.

Children are welcome, however, there are no facilities for children (no toys or children's dishes, no crib and high chair).

Due to the peace and quiet, the house is not rented to young people. 

Next to the Wooden Forest House lies the Stalen Boshuis and the Betonnen Boshuis. Each house is on its own plot and accommodates 4 people. The houses are not part of the recreation park Bergvlietvilla’s.
