Amazing 5 bedroom house, beautifully furnished with a gorgeous view

Just minutes to some of Utah's best ski areas, hiking, parks, and lots of other entertainment. Just down the street from restaurants and many other stores. The house is cozy with it's comfortable furnishings and plenty of space for your group to enjoy your stay in Utah. There are two large family rooms with smart TVs, DVD players and movies. An additional cozy lounge room, with an air hockey table, will ensure your group will have plenty of room for everyone to relax and be entertained. There are games, puzzles, toys and DVDs for your group to enjoy. A washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. Find time to relax in the jetted tub or gather around the gas fire pit in the spacious backyard on cool or warm nights. The backyard has plenty of space for kids to run and explore. In addition, there is a sleeper sofa located in the family room downstairs.

Excellent Winter Break Vacation

We stayed as a family for two weeks for our winter break. The house was clean, it had everything we needed plus games for kids fire pit and the host couldn’t have been more hospitable and responsive. We highly recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful spaceful Home!

I stay at a lot of VRBO houses and this one is at the top of my list. We spent 6 weeks there and hated to leave. Extremely roomy clean and just perfect in every way. Lots of space to spread out or all hang out together! We will be booking again soon.

Home away from home

The house is situated on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood near the bottom of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Very convenient to grocery store and other shops. Beautiful views across the Salt Lake valley to Antelope Island. Walking distance to playgrounds and parks. Each level of the house has bedrooms, baths, and large living spaces, providing privacy and making it ideal for two couples or extended family. The yard provides play space for children and there’s a large patio with outdoor seating, fire pit and grill. The kitchen is very well equipped, the dining area seats ten, and there’s a two car garage with lots of storage inside and out. There’s air hockey and games for both adults and kids. It’s a great base for exploring the city or enjoying the mountains. It truly feels like a home away from home. Aimee Shaw is a very responsible owner; the house is immaculate, and she responds quickly to any need.

Absolutely Incredible!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. It was so so beautiful and clean 10/10! We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect house in Utah. Close to ski resorts and everything you could want, from grocery stores, takeaway, restaurants, ski rental, and shopping centres. The house was incredible… even better in real life than the pictures. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve come across… had more items than my own kitchen. Amazing for families with board games and toys. The basement area was great for kids. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We LOVED it!!!

Great for families

We stayed for a month while house hunting in the SLC area and couldn't have been more pleased with our accomodations! Our kids loved the large fenced yard, air hockey, and Legos in the basement. We loved the perfectly appointed kitchen and commercial sized washer and dryer. Views of the city lights from the driveway at night are not to be missed. Highly recommend!

Christmas in the Snow!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this cozy and well appointed home in Sandy, UT during the holiday break. We interacted with owner Aimee who was a pleasure to work with. She is very quick to respond and offered lots of helpful tips anytime we had questions. She and her husband really made our stay special with warm touches such as putting up a cute decorated Christmas tree and sending special treats like chocolates. They even hired a guy to help clear the driveway for us a couple of times after a large snow dump. The home is quite spacious and the kitchen has plenty of nice appliances and accessories that made it perfect for eating in most of the time. Everything was very clean and organized. The location of the house is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood, so close to grocery stores and other conveniences such as a pharmacy, Home Depot, bagel store, Starbucks, gas station, etc. We got to meet a few of the nextdoor neighbors who are super friendly. In fact, one of them generously cleared a lot of snow off the street in the cul de sac for everyone. Another bonus with the location of this home is that it is only about 15-20 mins from the Alta Ski Resort. [However, due to the popularity of the ski season and heavy snowing, the commute often took much longer.] Without a doubt, our family would love to stay here again for our next ski trip at Alta. Thank you Aimee and Troy for sharing your wonderful home with us and making our time together so memorable and comfortable !!! Cheers! :)

Loved this house

We had such a wonderful stay at the Sandy house and were sad to leave. The location was fantastic for us; in a neighborhood where we could ride bikes but also so close to the mountains. The house had everything we needed and was really comfortable. We would actually love to return for a future trip.

Ideal for Every Reason

My husband I stayed in this home for 2 months. We had some company both over night and for dinner. Whether it was just my husband and me or other company we found the home spacious, comfortable, fully equipped, easy to live in, in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The home is located on a cul-de-sac overlooking the Salt Lake City Valley, within 10 minutes of the bottom of either the Little or Big Cottonwood canyons and within a mile of a supermarket - a great location. This rental felt like home. We highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning next winter.
