This stunning ‘eco’ two bedroom barn conversion set in 20 acres of peaceful countryside on the edge of the picturesque village of Brill, is an ideal base for exploring Oxford, the Cotswolds, shopping in Bicester Village outlet centre or visiting London. If all you require is peace and relaxation then the house is furnished and equipped to make your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. With beautiful views towards the village (and its historic windmill) and all the facilities the village has to offer, Ox House is the ideal place for your stay.

Absolutely astonishing, a picture-perfect accomodation with very attentive hosts and the most beautiful eye for detail in and around the house. Wish we could have stayed longer, we'll surely be back here.

What an absolutely amazing place. Peaceful, beautiful, calm surroundings and a spectacular property, clearly created with love. Thoughtfully laid out and having everything one could want from a break, whether it's a family trip or romantic getaway. So many little thoughtful touches and great hosts who made it easy to find and enter the property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

We have had a lovely few days here(March 2026). It is an idyllic spot, quiet and peaceful, but only a short drive or nice walk into Brill. the views from those windows are spectacular and the property is just lovely. If I was forced to pick a negative I’d say the shower is a little small and it’s a gas oven. I’d put up with those two minor gripes for that view and comfort any day.

Absolutely stunning barn conversion - the design and quality of construction shine through at every point. The garden is a delight to sit in with glorious countryside views across fields, right up to the Brill windmill. We were there during a heat wave, but were kept cool by having the lovely full length double French doors open, with the light curtains closed - and the breeze blew right through the house. Indoors still felt like outdoors as you looked on to the fields and could hear the birds singing. There were also plenty shady spots in the garden.The location is also fantastic. The barn is secluded but very close to Brill which is a charming and vibrant village. We enjoyed walking there across the fields. Jane and Derek were super welcoming and very helpful (before and during our stay). Really, we cant rate this highly enough.
