Beautiful views

For me, a cozy so comfortable Townhome with blessings of being on the Gulf. Added treasures of daily viewing of dolphins, stingray and other sealife. Owners helpful on small concerns they immediately resolved. I know where I will be staying in the future. Loved it so much.

Delightful

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It’s truly the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and had everything you could possibly need. Coming from the north we were disappointed in the weather but so enjoyed sitting on the back porch with our coffee. Able to see one sunset which was spectacular. Highly recommend and will come back.

Interesting Stay

Location is awesome. Neighbors are awesome. The condo was great but needs some TLC. Plumbing was leaking in Kitchen and up stairs bathroom would not drain. There were a couple of lizards in the master bed room that scared my wife.

The property and home are beautiful and well maintained.

This home is located about 15 feet from the water. From the screened in porch we could see dolphins, flying fish and many different types of birds as well as the bridge to Honeymoon Island. It was beautiful. The home itself is a 2 storey town home, with 2 full baths and bedrooms. The kitchen is fairly large and has a table and 4 chairs for enjoying meals and looking outside. The screened in porch was our favourite, although when the wind blew the privacy screen was quite noisy so we moved inside. The townhome had soap, shampoo, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent etc. Had problems with the TV on the main floor - had to recable everything to finally get it to work. We will definitely return.

Some Issues...

The view and layout of this rental were excellent. We saw dolphins and fish every day during our visit. We did like the house. That said, the owner was difficult to get a hold of. The wifi password wasn't posted anywhere. The house only had 1 pod for the dishwasher and 1 trashbag. When contacting the owner, they wanted us to dump our food and trash directly into the bin with no bag. The house just wasn't stocked like many other VRBO homes we have rented. They seemed uninterested in helping us during our stay. The next time we go to Florida, we will look somewhere else.

Broken dishwasher: 12 days to repair

I want to say that I have never written a review with less than a 4 or 5 rating before (and I’ve written many dozens), so I’m not ‘that guy’. Also, before writing this, I called the owner to discuss the issue with the trip, but they didn’t return my call. First the good. The townhouse is very nice, in a nice location, with great views of the bay and sunsets. The unit is well-equipped and was very comfortable for me, my wife and our dog. It also included a pass to Honeymoon Island which was a nice benefit. Our stay was a 14-night trip, arriving on 12/26 - 1/9. We planned meals in advance and caught grouper on a charter on 12/28. We were all set. I initially used the dishwasher on 12/28, got an error code and contacted the owner. To our surprise, the initial response was “I don’t know what to do about it”. After our request to fix it, they agreed to call someone to come look at it and repair it. However, the earliest they could get their repair person here was 12/30. When they arrived the repair person determined that the control board was bad and had to be ordered. My issue is that 1) the dishwasher was not checked before we arrived and 2) the lack of responsiveness and urgency to fix it. When I talked to the owner, they said that they didn’t think this was a big deal that the dishwasher was not operational when we arrived. I’m glad it wasn’t the HVAC, refrigerator or hot water heater! He also indicated that they didn’t advertise that they had a dishwasher in the unit, despite having pictures of it on the web site. How can you believe that not having a dishwasher at these rental rates is acceptable? With no communication from the owners, I called at 8:30am on Jan 4 for a status. I assumed the part was ordered when diagnosed and that it would arrive by Monday. I asked for a call back and when I didn’t hear from them, I called at 3:15pm. I was told they have a tracking# and that the part will be here on Jan 5. Depending on what time the part arrives, they “may fix it tomorrow”. The repair person arrived Wednesday and replaced the board…12 days after we arrived. The non-working appliance curtailed our elaborate cooking plans, and I spent an hour/day handwashing dishes. In summary, if you don’t mind a lack of responsiveness or customer service when you have an issue, then I would strongly encourage you to consider this property. For everyone else, I would recommend you avoid this property and any others owned by them.

Great bay views (St Joseph Sound)

Relaxing stay at this spacious waterfront home in Dunedin near the causeway to Honeymoon Island. Lots of wildlife, easy walking to food and beaches. Convenient to downtown Dunedin (by car). Thank you for sharing Sunsets and Happy Ours. :)

INACCURATE LISTING

This property is in a great location with all the provisions for home style living...the listing was misleading because it stated no pets...therefore it was disappointing to find dog hairs in the master bedroom....fortunately the home has 2 bedrooms so we used the 2nd bedroom for the first night...the maid was sent over to remove the dog hairs the following day....after my wife spoke with the owner it was revealed that he does rent to dog owners...so the listing info. is misleading.

Sunset views cannot be beat!

What an amazing property. We really enjoyed our stay with some of the most amazing sunset views I've ever, ever seen. We saw local wildlife (egrets! rays! dolphins! the bunny!) and enjoyed just 'taking it all in'. The condo was nicely appointed and made it easy for us to cook in when we desired. All the kitchen accessories and welcome extras in the fridge were appreciated. We used the Honeymoon Island pass a couple of times to visit and that was especially helpful. Don't miss an opportunity for a wonderful, quiet, relaxing, beautiful stay.

Wonderful long weekend

Property was exactly as described, the location is awesome. Walking distance to beaches, bars and restaurants. The pass into the park and beach chairs were very nice to use. Saw dolphins, sharks, manatee, and other wildlife.

Family Easter weekend

We had an amazing time. The condo was absolutely perfect and beautiful, well equipped with everything we could need, and more! The bedrooms and beds were comfy and nicely set up, upstairs too. Sunrise and sunsets were just gorgeous...breathtaking! We really hope to be back very soon. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us!!! We loved everything about it, and it's location!!!

Relaxing fun in the sun!

This property is beautifully situated on the corner of a condo unit thus giving you a wide view of the water. The host provided use of their yearly pass to Honeymoon Island State Park which is just 1.5 miles across the causeway. Lots of kitchen supplies, nice appliances, comfortable beds and had beach chairs available if needed. Would love to come back!

Incredible view,, clean and well-appointed property

We took my mother-in-law and son to enjoy sunshine and a change of scenery. This property didn’t disappoint. The view and sunsets were beautiful and peaceful. Since we cook a lot, we found everything we needed in the kitchen from real glassware and sharp knives. The Honeymoon Island pass was very much appreciated. While you are very close to your neighbor on the left who hasn’t done nearly as nice a job with their outdoor space, we didn’t ever see them. The beds are comfortable too! Wonderful property which we will definitely consider when visiting my brother in Dunedin.

Amazing location

What an amazing spot. You have a BIG water view on 2 sides of this 2-floor townhome. We saw dolphins right next to our sea wall, pelicans diving for fish, and other wading birds. Besides the incredible view, you are 1 block from the causeway to honeymoon island - an incredible place to watch sun set or rise, a perfect walking path along the water. Everyone is so friendly too. And finally, the townhouse itself is so thoughtfully equipped. I use Vrbo at least 4x a year and this is likely one of the nicest ones: appliances were all new, kitchen well-stocked with cooking gear - even spices too!! Multiple coffee makers (one being a keurig so bring your own pods), TVs in every room, and just really thoughtful touches: nice beach towels, like-new beach chairs, even holiday decorations! We stayed a week, both working (WiFi was great), and relaxing. Loved it there. Thanks so much, Brigitte!!

Awesome waterfront location

Location, location, location was THE best. Breathtaking 180 degree waterfront view and super clean, well-appointed home — from kitchen appliances/wares to full-size washer and dryer. Property owner super responsive and helpful. Also pet friendly and our pup loved the breezy screened porch and adjacent grass yard. Many thanks for sharing your beautiful spot!

Great, great townhouse in a great location !!

We absolutely loved this place. Great location with bay views on the back and side. The views were so great and the patio and upper deck sitting areas were so great we eneded up spending more tie at the place then sightseeing. Coffee each morning and saw lots of dolphins from the adirondack chairs. The condo was nicely apportioned! We will definitely be back.
