Enter through the grand reception hall, where soft LED lighting, modern pendant fixtures and wide Italian porcelain tiles create an immediate sense of calm and sophistication. A sweeping staircase with glass balustrade sets the tone for the rest of the house, leading to thoughtfully designed spaces that celebrate both comfort and craftsmanship.
At the heart of the home is the magnificent open-plan L-shaped kitchen and dining space. Floor-to-ceiling windows and two sets of sliding glass doors bathe the room in natural light and connect the interior to the upper sun terrace. The bespoke handmade kitchen is a chef’s dream, combining classic shaker style with high-end modern features. A large central island forms the perfect gathering point, while integrated appliances—including double ovens, induction hob, discreet extractor and coffee machine—make cooking an absolute pleasure.
The ground floor also offers a peaceful sitting room and a dedicated study—ideal for those who wish to blend work with relaxation. A beautifully designed en suite bedroom is also located on this floor, providing additional privacy for guests.
Head down to the lower ground floor to discover the home’s entertainment hub. A 23ft games room invites lively evenings, while the fully equipped cinema room offers the perfect setting for movie nights. Both spaces open directly onto the lower sun terrace, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. A utility room and cloakroom complete this level.
Upstairs, the first floor hosts five additional double bedrooms, each featuring elegant décor and private en suite shower rooms. The show-stopping principal suite includes an Emperor bed, bespoke dressing area, handcrafted wardrobes, a luxurious bathroom and a Juliet balcony overlooking the river. Three bedrooms offer private balconies, and three super-king beds can be configured as singles upon request.
Outside, Gable View truly shines. Two expansive sun terraces overlook the river and rolling countryside, perfect for al fresco dining and sunset drinks. Steps lead down through landscaped gardens to a gently sloping lawn, ending at the water’s edge. With a private gate and direct river access, this is a dream location for paddleboarding, kayaking or simply watching the changing tides.
