Perfect Quiet Little Getaway

I can into town to run a trail race, and this couldn’t have been a more perfect location. It was away from the bustle of activity in Auburn and had everything I needed. It was clean, quiet, and an absolutely gorgeous property. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great getaway for couples

Vineyard mini honeymoon

We loved our relaxing stay after our wedding in the area. We love sitting by the pond and going winetasting we are recommending to friends, and will definitely be back!

Great Hiking Weekend

This property is so amazing. We were looking for a place to stay with our dog for the weekend. We wanted to hike and explore the trails around Auburn. Could not have booked a more wonderful property. It had a swimming lake. A beautiful winery next door and acres to run. The joy on my dogs face said it all. My husband and I loved sipping wine down by the swimming pond. The Tiny house is so cute and the owners so nice and accommodating to all our needs.

Great Get-A-Way

We wanted exactly what we got from this rental. Relaxing, comfortable, wine, vineyards, dog play time and peaceful. Hosts were great, we had our privacy and all in all it was perfect for two busy business execs to get some rest.

Perfect getaway spot

Peaceful property in the Sierra foothills. 20 minutes from Auburn and Lincoln. Wineries and breweries close by. Greeted by 2 of the sweetest dogs on earth. Game room, movie theater, pool table, fire pit with a pond and view of the grapevines. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Great get away

We had a lovely time renting the Tiny House, which was well provisioned, charming, and in a beautiful location for exploring the area. Our hosts were thoughtful and responsive to our questions. We would stay here again without hesitating!

Lovely outdoor setting

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The house was indeed tiny, but beautifully appointed. The private lake and fire pit were wonderful! The sunsets were incredible!

Great View and Amazing Home

This house has it all! We enjoyed our stay and had more fun then we anticipate, the pool table was great and the movie theater room was better than we thought. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Newcastle Stay

In one word. Incredible. Words cannot describe this place. Beautiful property. Amazing hosts. Peaceful stay. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to stay just before the Christmas holiday. It was peaceful and just what I needed to recharge. Happy New Year!

Unexpected

I almost hesitate leaving a review because I want it to be available for when we want to go back. All the positive reviews still didn’t prepare us for our stay! Want to relax? Plenty of spots to choose from. Want to play a game? You’ve got board games a plenty, a pool table, air hockey, pinball, corn hole, horseshoes, puzzles…I’m sure I left something out. Next door to a winery and overlooking vineyards. Stayed here for an event nearby but would come back for a getaway trip, no hesitation.

Most beautiful place to stay

This was a perfect place for our elopement weekend. The suite was comfortable and so fun. The grounds are gorgeous for photos. The patio was perfect for a Saturday brunch. And the hosts hooked us up at the neighboring winery with the best table in the house, which we walked to. We are excited to come back each year to celebrate. Thank you for creating this And sharing it with us and our friends.

We needed a place to get away from it all and we needed the peace and quiet to rethink our life. And the place was close to Auburn which we fell in love with. Rainy Weekend Retreat

The January rainstorms didn’t stop our plans to get away for a weekend. Besides exploring the local area and trying some great places to eat, we enjoyed our time at the Double M! It was warm and cozy inside our bedroom with the help of the electric fireplace. We played pool and watched movies in the private home theater room. Lots of other games to choose from too! Laurie was a great host. Everything was perfect so we didn’t have a need to ask for for anything else. I think this would be equally great during sunny days (I think they switch out the fireplace with ac unit), but don’t let the rain stop you from coming here.

Amazing property, great hospitality, would visit again!

We were looking for an place to stay for our visit to see a concert at the Toyota Amphitheater and landed on this one (took us about 30-40 min to get to the venue, which is about normal for place not named Hard Rock or based in Yuba City). First of all the hospitality was wonderful. There was a small event rental that was utilizing the game/theater room, but they ensured I'd still have a place to watch the UFC fight at the outdoor bar TV. If there's any amenities you're dead set on, just make sure to reach out to verify their availability. They're easy to communicate with and happy to help/answer questions. For the money, this is a really great place to stay. The neighboring winery is a nice way to spend a little bit of your day while you're out there.Their little pond out front has a pedal boat you can spin around on. The property is gorgeous and perfectly sized. And the hospitality / communication was great. It's amazing what they've built on this property, mostly by themselves. We stayed in the tiny home but had a chance to take a look at the suite. My view: Tiny home = more privacy (separated from house), more kitchen space, more tightly packed Suite = more space, game room/theater within arms reach, located at bottom of house (FYI, it still feels private enough. Some of the negative reviews i feel are disproportionately focused on that) Amazing stay, would love to bring our beagle next time! PS: do High-Hand Cafe and Nursery for brunch - that was a highlight

Perfect for a wedding weekend

We were attending a nearby wedding so this property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Being able to walk to the winery next door was by far the best feature and we loved the morning views from the patio. Having the coffee maker and fridge was a big plus for us as we brought our own snacks and drinks. We had only a minor nick-pick with the shower head. It's probably clogged with calcium so the water flow is low. We did find the bed to be a bit firm for our tastes but that sort of thing is highly subjective. All in all, we highly recommend the suite and property and would stay again.

Beautiful Stay

We stayed in the guest suite and had a lovely time. The view from the room is beautiful and the suite was very clean. The property manager kept in contact with us via text and was very helpful.
