Kastellos Village is a lovely, traditional village in the heart of Crete with a strategic location to explore the amazing, big island of Crete. The property is located outside of the village, with marvelous views of the wild forest and green fields. Staying here, one can feel the natural tranquillity as the scene is completed by the clear, transparent atmosphere and the sounds of nature.
Wellness Villas are a great base for making excursions around Crete, as it is on the way to the clear blue southern beaches such as Amoudi, Damnoni, Schinaria, Plakias, Triopetra, and Preveli. From the working harbour of Plakias, there are several boat trips to other beaches and villages along the south coast. Also, there is a watersports center at Damnoni beach.

Armeni village is close to Kastellos, and you can do grocery shopping and taste the local cuisine at the tavernas. There you can find a pharmacy, a bank ATM, and bakeries. The village offers some attractions like the Late-Minoan Necropolis of Armeni atthe site Prinokefala. Other attractions in the village's religious nature are numerous churches, such as the Transfiguration of Christ of 1887, the Virgin Mary, a Byzantine church on the road leading to Koumous, the Agios Georgios, the Agia Kyriaki, the Agios Nektarios and other.
