The ground floor also features the first bedroom: a charming room with a king-size bed an en-suite wet room with a free-standing bath and walk-in shower. From the dining room, an open-tread wooden staircase leads upstairs to the first floor where you will find a refreshing shower room and the two bright, tastefully furnished bedrooms: a cosy twin and a pretty double, both decorated in warm soothing shades. Outside, the garden has a lawn and patio with outdoor furniture, making a lovely relaxing space for everyone to sit, dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine on a summer’s evening.


Lying along the River Bure, Thurne is a wonderful base for exploring the Norfolk Broads by foot or by boat. Local attractions include Thurne Mill, St Benet’s Abbey, BeWILDerwood Norfolk, and Wroxham Barns, all within 16 miles. Heading east, you can enjoy a day by the sea, with both Caister-on-Sea (9 miles) and Great Yarmouth (13 miles) within easy reach.
