An enchanting lodge nestling in attractive countryside 9 miles from Aldeburgh, one of the many popular seaside towns found across the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB. A convenient base for days on the beach, nature trails and exploring historical sights with close friends and family, the one-storey cottage features an open-plan kitchen/diner, a large garden and access to a tennis court.
The functional and practically arranged lodge lies close to the village of Yoxford. Light and airy rooms draped in contemporary soft furnishings are found throughout, with plenty of space for everyone to unwind in comfort. The lounge is a great place to gather for quality time together, especially after an indulgent meal prepared and served in the kitchen/diner opposite. When the day is done, guests can retreat to the welcoming arms of an en-suite double bedroom or a king-size bedroom that can be converted into a twin bedroom upon request. Both offer ample storage space. A shower room stands nearby. Outside, the patio area is great for a BBQ, while the lawn is perfect for children keen to burn off some energy. Anyone for tennis can head over to the hard court which is only a drop shot away.
There are footpaths and historic sites to explore in Yoxford (0.5 miles), home to an array of antique shops, cosy cafes and traditional pubs. The reserve at Minsmere (5.5 miles) is a wonderful place to reconnect with nature, while the bustling seaside towns of Aldeburgh (9 miles) and Southwold (11 miles) offer fantastic beaches, good food and miles of walks on the scenic Suffolk Coast Path.
