The popular and pretty seaside towns of Cromer (5 miles) and Salthouse (6 miles) offer water sports and beach activities. Alternatively, take the North Norfolk Railway from Sheringham to Holt (6 miles) and follow the Owl Trail around this traditional Georgian market town. Wildlife lovers should head to Blakeney Point (11 miles) and take a boat trip to see the sea colonies.
