Positioned between Darlington (7.5 miles), Barnard Castle (12 miles) and Richmond (7 miles), you’ll feel spoilt for choice in charming towns to explore. A little further away, the vast Yorkshire Dales National Park (20 miles) invites you in with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable hikes.
Endearing and appealing from the moment you step inside, this two-storey cottage has been lovingly updated to feature inviting décor and calming tones. Find two comfortable seating areas to unwind in on the ground floor, the lovely lounge and the sunny conservatory. Whether you’re curled up by the wood burner with the Smart TV on or admiring the garden whilst playing a board game, you’ve got room to relax down here. There’s also the farmhouse-style kitchen with its breakfast table for dining. Upstairs, two fabulous king-size bedrooms await, each with plenty of space to spread out, along with a shower room. Outside, the garden at the rear elevates the property come summertime, complete with a furnished lawn and impeccable views.
Surrounded by pretty villages of a similar ilk, you can enjoy getting to know the area with a hike, or perhaps a pub crawl, of nearby locales. Visit Melsonby (2 miles), Eppleby (3 miles) and Forcett (2 miles), admiring field-lined country roads that lead you to each destination.
