Enjoy a romantic break away in the countryside, on the fringes of the beautiful and expansive Exmoor National Park. This pretty property is set in a period building and has a wonderful warming wood burner, and boasts a private patio alongside stunning, shared grounds for you to enjoy.
Stepping inside, this bright lodge welcomes you. The beamed ceiling and limestone floors create an airy space for guests to enjoy. To one end of the open-plan living space is the kitchen which has all the amenities you require for cooking up a storm to refuel after the busy days. The dining table is set in front of French doors, so you can let the outside in while you feast. Curl up on the sofa and watch a film together, while the roaring wood burner keeps your toes warm. Once you are ready to hit the hay, head through to the sumptuous king-size bedroom which has an adjacent en-suite bathroom, containing a bath, and a separate shower. Head through the French doors and find a charming, private patio where you can dine alfresco and sip on an evening tipple. You will also have access to the expansive, shared gardens which surround the property.
Head off on foot, bike, or horseback and roam through the Exmoor National Park (2 miles) with its many trails that wind through the valleys and hills. Reach the coastal edge of the park and admire the far-reaching views over the Bristol Channel. Visit the bustling market towns of Dulverton (4 miles), Tiverton (13 miles), or Barnstaple (23 miles). The wonderful Exmoor Distillery (5 miles) is a great place to enjoy a day together sampling tasty gins.
