You’re just 0.5 miles from streets lined with independent boutiques, galleries and restaurants – lovely for whiling away sunny mornings. A scenic 1-mile walk leads to Readymoney Cove, a sheltered sandy beach overlooked by a 15th-century fort with fabulous coastal views. Hop on the Bodinnick car ferry (150 metres) to explore local favourites such as Looe (12 miles) or catch the Polruan Ferry (0.5 mile) to the picturesque boat-building village across the water. If you’re in the mood for adventure, join the South West Coast Path (500 metres) for a breezy hike to Lantic Bay (3 miles) where you can picnic and paddle. For unforgettable days out, head to the world-famous Eden Project (7 miles) or Charlestown’s historic harbour (7 miles).
On arrival, step into the welcoming inner hallway where the ground floor opens onto two lovely bedrooms: to the left is a good-sized king-size room with wood panelled walls, and to the right is a cosy twin room. Both have en-suite bathrooms for excellent privacy, plus doors leading out to the enclosed garden terrace with seating, so you can step right out into the fresh air upon waking. Head upstairs to relax in the bright, open-plan living space with its high ceiling, fully equipped kitchen area and dining table positioned next to a window. This space has a chic mid-century-modern style, with wooden furniture a coastal colour scheme. The comfy lounge section has a Smart TV, sofa and two chairs so you can watch a film in the evening.
Outside, make the most of the coastal sunshine in one of two spots: a bistro set at the front on the gravelled terrace, ideal for light meals outside, and a cosy rear patio garden with a lawn area. An allocated parking space is conveniently located directly outside.
