Sleeping eight guests, the sumptuous, four-bedroom retreat includes features such as a sunken hot tub, outdoor kitchen and games room. It sits in lawned gardens and is 7 miles from the beach and 8 miles from Bodmin Moor.

Make your way into the handsome former barn, which has underfloor heating, to discover stylish, contemporary accommodation, with a reverse-level design. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all at ground-floor level. These include two super-king-size bedrooms, with Smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms, and two twin rooms, with Smart TVs and zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as 5’ king-sizes if discussed in advance. There is a family bathroom on this floor too. Head up to the first floor to play pool in the games room, where you can pull the bi-folding doors back on to the hot tub deck. The magnificent lounge/diner, with its stylish wood burner, long table for dining at and Smart TV, is on the second floor. The kitchen is the perfect place to cater for your group and there is also a utility room. Spill out into the garden on sunny days to bask in the sunshine, dine in the fresh air and bubble in the hot tub. The covered outdoor kitchen is ideal for BBQs. There is parking for three cars at the house.

Pack a picnic and venture 7 miles down to the family-friendly beach at East Loe. Walk along the Banjo Pier and book a sea safari while you are here. Head 8 miles to see the beautiful Golitha Falls and to walk through woodland on the edge of Bodmin Moor. There are many other footpaths and trails to follow through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
