Beds were comfortable. Towels were thick, absorbent and large. Yard (garden) was nice to sit outside. Home is spacious and the area was quiet yet convenient. We did not have a car but parking is available. If you are sensitive to scents, let them know at booking.

Excellent location and house very suitable for us to look after grandchildren whilst their parents moved house within Caversham area.Large kitchen and pleasant garden. Difficulty parking 2 larger cars on drive Off road subject to fines which I incurred. No direct communication with owner only through agency. Only aware of the additional identification checks needed AFTER booking.These were buried (concealed)at the end of advertisement under extra information about the house which was not a correct place to provide this important and obligatory requirement NOT relating to the actual house itself.It required an additional £10 payment to outside agency so this should be made apparent up front in the advert. Although standard of cleaning good and grass cut with owner away the actual maintenance of property was neglected.We found front door key tricky to work,taps in kitchen loose,water softening device and dish washer needing salt to work effectively.The attractive garden needed more attention with plants dying in hot weather.There were instructions on indoor watering system but nothing for outdoors. Communication from agency about early check in left literally to last minute so little help with our timetable of childcare that day. It was all very impersonal and spoilt enjoyment of experience.
