The property is quietly situated just outside the picturesque village of Brtonigla (a 3-minute drive / 15-minute walk), nestled among lush fields, olive groves and vineyards.
From here, you can take numerous excursions, such as to the historic old town of Buje (a 10-minute drive) or to the beaches of the Adriatic coast. The popular beaches of Novigrad (a 10-minute drive) offer a mix of pebbled coves, clear water, and family-friendly beach clubs. Head 15 minutes north to Umag for lively seaside promenades and well-equipped beaches, or explore the wilder, more natural coastline around Dajla for peaceful swims away from the crowds.
Brtonigla sits at the heart of one of Istria’s most celebrated wine regions, making it a dream base for wine lovers. Within a short drive, you can visit renowned wineries such as Kozlović, Cattunar, and Veralda, where you can taste local Malvasia and Teran wines while overlooking vineyard-covered hills. Many estates also produce exceptional olive oil, and nearby family-run taverns (konobas) serve regional specialities including truffles, handmade pasta, and Istrian prosciutto.
Families with children will appreciate the nearby Istralandia water park (a 10-minute drive). The villa is also ideally situated in reach of the historic sites of Motovun and Grožnjan, both approximately a 30–40-minute drive from the accommodation.
