We were put into a unit that had not been cleaned since the last people were there. Spending the afternoon locating the host, we finally got moved to the unit below, however it was very noisy at night. It sat over a bar restaurant and then after closing, there was a lot of noise in the unit above us. On top of that, the radiators had not been drained properly so the first night we had radiator noise that was so loud we couldn’t sleep. With the assistance of Vrbo, we were able get the radiators fixed. To the host’s credit, he did give us a 10% discount for all of the hassle we incurred the first day.

We are sorry that this guest's experience did not meet expectations. We immediately relocated the guest to the apartment originally allocated to the booking and gave him a 10% goodwill refund for the inconvenience which he was more than happy to accept. During the stay the guest also reported radiator noise. We treated this as a priority and, working with Vrbo, arranged for the heating system to be adjusted as quickly as possible. Our units are newly decorated following complete renovation earlier this year. He did not report any other noise at the time, although from the information we provided him, he was aware he was booking a property in a central London location, convenient for great bars and fashionable restaurants. Since our exciting launch in April 2026 we have welcomed many guests from around the world and have consistently received excellent feedback for the cleanliness, quality and service we provide. While we regret that this guest was dissatisfied, we remain committed to responding promptly to any issues and doing everything reasonably possible to resolve them during a guest's stay.

You are close enough to reach Shoreditch, King’s Cross and the West End quickly, yet far enough away to enjoy quieter evenings and a more relaxed pace. The area has an excellent selection of independent cafés, restaurants and shops, as well as green spaces nearby.

It is well connected by Overground, bus routes and quick links to the Victoria Line via Finsbury Park. For many guests, it provides the ideal compromise between convenience and character.
