A great property right in the heart of St Ives . Literally just a stones throw away from both the harbour and porthmeor beach. Good accommodation set over 4 floors.

Cosy cottage right in the centre

Sweet little cottage where two of us stayed for 4 nights. Nicely furnished with Ercol chairs and sofa. Comfortable bed. Note this is a very old house built for a different era, with steep and narrow stairs, and whilst very quaint, the rooms are small, and the walls and floors are very thin so if more than two people stayed privacy would be a challenge. For two it was perfect though. The age of the house also showed in the windows which let in a cool draught, especially in the attic bedroom. Location could hardly be improved, with a fantastic breakfast cafe right next door and lovely wine bar a stone’s throw away. No outside space but you’re a few minutes from the beach or harbour and the streets are very safe for children. Kitchen reasonably well equipped but no salt, pepper, oil, sugar etc which was very frustrating. For the price it suited us very well and based on its location would recommend but if you want all mod cons or have mobility issues this probably isn’t the place for you.
