We enjoyed our stay although we were out most of the time during the day visiting Bryce, (a little under an hour drive) & Zion (a little over an hour drive) National Parks. The house was clean, comfortable and the fire at night was lovely sitting near it as we firmed up the next days plans. The owners were very helpful when we had to make a change. We would not hesitate to stay again if we ever have a return visit to that area.

House was exactly as listed. Very clean and well stocked with all necessities for an enjoyable stay. Location is great to access Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks Pretty remote location.Not a lot of dining or grocery shopping options. Hosts were great to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely Perfect Family Getaway!

Our family of four—ranging in age from 8 to 75—had the most wonderful stay at Stix and Stones! The cabin was the perfect home base for exploring Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and other nearby attractions. The location made everything easy and convenient, but it was the cabin itself that truly made our trip special.It was cozy, incredibly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The air conditioning kept us cool after long days of hiking, and the hosts went above and beyond with accommodations—from fun board games for the kids to a beautifully maintained fire pit and barbecue grill for the whole family to enjoy. The hammocks were a favorite for relaxing under the trees in the evenings.Every little detail made it feel like a true home away from home. We could not have been happier and are already planning our return. Wayne and Bertha, Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Well stocked house. House has everything you need for basic spices and cooking supplies. Comes stocked with toiletries, paper products and games. While there is noise from the nearby road you cannot hear it from the house. You only hear the noise of an occasional car passing by no horn or siren noise. This is only heard when on the deck having coffee which didn’t bother us. The only negative of the house is the location to nearby grocery stores or restaurants. The closet full service grocery store is 45mins away. Either way we loved this house and its location to Zion 1hr, Bryce 45mins, and Capital about 2hrs 20mins.

Relaxing Cabin getaway

We loved our time at the cabin. It was a great spot to stay while touring Zion and Bryce. (Allow an hour to get into Zion) We especially enjoyed the hammocks and having 3 bathrooms.

Perfect base between Bryce and Zion!

Our group (three adults and three kids) was extremely comfortable staying here! It was the perfect central base for our Utah adventures. The hosts were very communicative and helpful.

A cozy place central to 3 wonderful places of nature’s beauty and human compassion.

Walking through the cabin door, this place grabs you with a welcoming embrace, from fireplace to soaring ceiling to comfy bedrooms each tucked away on its own floor. A spacious porch and fire-pit outside connect inside coziness with outside natural beauty. Well cared-for, this place is one of the best we have stayed in on our VRBO journey.

Perfect cabin in the woods

We went with two other couples and it was perfect. We loved the area. It was a great place to return to after spending the days in Bryce Canyon.

Centrally located lovely cabin

We really enjoyed this lovely and comfortable cabin. It is centrally located to both the Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. The cabin was able to accommodate our family of 6 and we did not even use the bedroom in the basement. Bertha and Wayne did a great job of stocking the cabin with all needed amenities. Thanks a bunch.

Cozy fireplace vacation

They had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed the fireplace an ample supply of split wood. It snowed on our second to last day and it was so pretty. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Everything was wonderful!

We loved everything about our stay here! The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. We had a few questions here and there and our hosts, Bertha and Wayne, always responded within minutes. The house is very spacious with lovely views, but is also close to a main highway, perfectly located close to both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. (Both parks are must-sees!) One of the best features of the house is that every bedroom has a full bathroom associated with it. There is an upstairs suite with a bedroom and bath, along with a lovely sitting area. The first floor bedroom is off the kitchen with a bathroom across a little hall. The third bedroom and bath is on the lower level. The kitchen is well appointed. We stayed 4 nights and cooked in each night. Groceries and restaurants are not that close but on the advice of our hosts we stopped before we came at a grocery on the way and had everything we needed. The entire house was impeccably clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and I would say that this house is absolutely one of the best. If we ever come back to this area I would rent this home again in a heartbeat! We loved it and so will you.

Perfect!

We stayed here for a week in August and would definitely recommend! The hosts are so thoughtful! The furniture was all comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all the little things to cover what you might have forgot at home! The house was super clean and had all the extra to use “just in case”; Such as extra book bags, coolers, blankets, towels chairs etc Utah heat can be intense- I only wish I had suggested that the younger adults take the master bedroom upstairs because it was hard to get cooled down😂

We both work in the Las Vegas hospitality industry, so taking long vacations was rarely an option. Instead, we learned to treasure quick weekend getaways—but we didn’t want to spend our precious time off sitting in traffic or waiting in airports.

That’s when we discovered the magic of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. From Zion and Bryce Canyon, to Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Panguitch Lake, Brian Head, and the Grand Canyon — each trip brought us new adventures and unforgettable views.

Along the way, we fell in love with the area’s welcoming communities, breathtaking landscapes, and the peaceful feeling that only nature can offer. It’s truly a special place — one we now get to share with others through our cabin.

We chose to call our cabin “Sticks-N-Stones” because it truly captures that mountain vibe we love — from the wood finishes and cozy fireplace to the spacious deck and incredible views. It feels like a rustic escape, but with all the comforts of home: Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and even a garage.

This is our place to unwind, disconnect from the daily grind, and reconnect with nature — or, let’s be honest, sneak in a guilt-free Netflix binge when the weather calls for it! And because it's remote-work friendly, we can get things done if needed, without sacrificing that getaway feeling.

Most importantly, Sticks-N-Stones gives us a space to truly connect — with our kids, our friends, and our family. Whether it’s sitting around the firepit, exploring nearby trails, or just playing games in the loft, we always leave feeling refreshed.
