Lovely space in a traditional tile fronted house. Apartment is on the top floor and owner Paula lives below so always on hand if needed.Paula was there to meet us when we arrived & again when we departed and made us feel very welcome.Bedroom is large and beautifully decorated. Theres a walk in wardrobe/cupboard space to store your clothes and nice touches like beach towels and bathrobes which we didn't use. The terrace was great and seemed to get the sun all day long, has a canopy too for those seeking shade/shelter.The bathroom is just next-door but is private for the room, great size and again beautifully decorated and had extra toiletries if needed.Kitchen area is small but well equipped, we only needed the fridge, kettle and coffee machine as Porto is full of lovely restaurants and cafés.With the doors from the bedroom into the kitchen area open and the sliding door onto the terrace open it worked really well as one big space. Perfect for a couple or 2 friends.Everything was spotless and clean.Only a 10 min walk from Trindade station so handy for the Metro to the airport. House is on a really quiet street yet only 3 mins from a busy rd.Within 5 mins there are shops/cafes etc and the further downhill you go the more there are. Only a 20 min walk right down to the riverfront.Highly recommend staying here, much better than some of the soulless rentals owned by large companies. It's a local house owned by a local person so hopefully supporting local.
