Luis was a great host and easy to deal with. The flat was very authentic and clean!! Beautiful views, centrally located. A true taste of what Porto has to offer!! Bathroom was about the same size as a trailer bathroom… but, remember what you’re spending….if our travels took us back to Porto, we’d stay here again…. Ask for the top floor!!

You couldn't ask for a better location. Right on the river with beautiful views. Everything you need is within walking distance. The room could use upgrades and note that it is 3 flights of stairs but it is a cool building

Property was in excellent location right in the centre of restaurant and bars and historical attractions. The view from the balcony was stunning. Louis was extremely helpful both before and during our visit. The only small thing is that the kitchen and bathroom are down the corridor to the bedroom so it is not all in one apartment but this didn’t impact our stay.

The view was great, but that was all that was good about this place.Tha place was musty almost mildewey.we only stayed 1 of the 2 night, had to go and got a hotel for about 15E more. Better and cleaner and around 1 blockaway

The guest and his wife arrived on August 23, at check in the guest presented no remark, on the contrary all was OK. Note that the weather was exceptionally wet for August and the day after, “On August 24, 2026, Porto experienced heavy rains and thunderstorms with yellow warnings issued for precipitation” (text collected from weather forecast). But this does not all justify the comment “the place was musty almost mildewey”. When the guest left the flat on August 24 I went there with the lady who makes the cleaning and neither of us remarked any traces or smell of mildew in the bedroom. And note that the guest has made the evaluation only two weeks after their stay.

Luis is extremely helpful, communication excellent. The view from the apartment is stunning. Its a quaint unusual old building, but has everything you could need. A hairdryer, heater, fan, toaster, coffee machine and microwave as well as all usual kitchen equipment.

Fantastic location! Fantastic host!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Luis was super easy to deal with and was kind enough to accommodate our exceptionally late (2:00 am) check in. You can’t beat the location!

Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our Porto home. When we arrived, Luis kindly met us in town and accompanied us to the apartment. We loved the balcony view. The location was perfect. There was so much to do in the area, all within walking distance.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was as described - a bit rustic but with everything one needs. Yes, one walks from the bedroom across the stairwell to get to the other side of the apartment where the bathroom and kitchen are. The balcony offers an amazing view of the waterfront. We were thankful to have space heaters to at least keep the bedroom area warm as we were there end of January and the weather was raw. We loved the location with so many restaurants nearby.

Amazing location and views

Shelley and Cliff came to our flat after one week luxury cruise in the Douro valley. They have been very nice guests. Our flat, in an XVIII century building, cannot be compared to a luxury cruise but location of the flat and the river view is great, as Shelley recognized, so I just regret that the evaluation they have given is so low.

View and location are the best

It was everything we were looking for! Amazing view for our morning coffee/tea. Walking access to what we wanted to see. Luis met us at the metro stop to guide us to the apartment.

A Room with a View.

Luis was so helpful. He met us at the bus station and took us back to his place, giving us a guided tour and lots of info. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the wonderful view and watching the world go by.

Amazing stay and host

From the get go Luis was an amazing host. The communication was top tier (we were ready to give five stars before we even stayed there). He also collected us from the train station and helped us find our way to the apartment. The apartment was AMAZING view was incredible and had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay Luis!

The view from the balcony was fabulous. Nothing like it. The location is great, next to tour boats, grocery stores, restaurants. Etc. Definitely a great apartment
