Casa Lara Milano - One Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 3
Quiet rooftop retreat in Chinatown
A quiet apartment on the top floor of a typical Milanese railing house, with a view of the rooftops and the UniCredit Tower. In the heart of bustling Chinatown, just a few minutes from Arco della Pace and Parco Sempione.
On the top floor of a typical Milanese railing house, the apartment can be reached by elevator up to the fourth floor and a short flight of stairs. Once you arrive, a welcoming space opens up with exposed beams and a pleasant view of the rooftops of Milan.
Despite the central and lively location of the neighborhood, the interior exposure makes the apartment very quiet, an ideal place to relax after a day in the city.
From the windows you can see the Milanese skyline and enjoy the view of the UniCredit Tower.
Many of the most interesting areas of Milan can be reached with pleasant walks.
In a few minutes you arrive at the iconic Arco della Pace, one of the places most loved by the Milanese for aperitifs and evening life. From here you can cross the green Sempione Park to the historic Sforza Castle and then continue towards the center to the Milan Cathedral.
Another very pleasant walk starts from the lively Via Paolo Sarpi, the heart of Milan's Chinatown, full of restaurants, street food and shops. Continuing on, you reach Corso Como: from here you can continue to the modern Piazza Gae Aulenti, surrounded by the skyscrapers of the city's new financial center, admire the famous green towers of the Vertical Forest and continue to the creative district of Isola. Alternatively, in the opposite direction, you can take Corso Garibaldi, one of the most pleasant and lively streets in Milan, which leads to the historic district of Brera, famous for its galleries, cafés and artistic atmosphere.
On the other hand, crossing Corso Sempione, with a walk of about fifteen minutes, you reach the contemporary district of CityLife, with its large park and towers designed by international architects. A little further on is the Fiera Milano City area.
For those who prefer to travel by public transport, from home you can easily take a tram that goes directly to Navigli, the canal district famous for restaurants, clubs and for its lively atmosphere, especially in the evening. The route is taken aboard one of the characteristic historic Milanese trams, with the charm of yesteryear, a small symbol of the city.
City Tax: € 9,50 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 14 nights
