Lots of Stairs

The pictures online doesn't clearly show the amount of stairs to get into the cabin/house. It was very difficult with an elderly person who requires a walker to get around. We had to physically help him for every step.We were disappointed with the beds. They were all hard as rocks and everyone had a difficult time sleeping. We expected the cabin to be cleaner than it was. It looks a bit neglected. There's no air conditioning. The ceiling fan made the lights flicker like a strobe light. So, we had to eat without the light on. Needs a lot of updates & some maintenance. The couches were nice and comfortable. We had a good time (always do when visiting Big Bear). Just wish online photos & descriptions were more informative. We will not be staying at this particular place again.

Disappointing, but the management company was fabulous!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It just didn’t live up to the photos. The Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE!!! A few things were not working properly - the sink sprayer was leaking, and the hot tub got cold. The driveway was too steep, and I kept bottoming out my van. There weren’t enough towels. There wasn’t enough bedding for the pull out couch. The location looks so close to the resort, but the windy roads make it so much longer! I wasn’t a fan of that area/development altogether. Thanks but no thanks. Sorry.

Great Family getaway

Overall experience was great we got a foot of snow which made the views better. The home was comfortable, accommodating and had everything we needed. Only downside was trash removal but then we found out it’s the same for multiple properties as we were on a car line to dispose of trash that we had to put in the car with us to dispose of offsite

Great house

The layout of the house is great with kids. The room with the curtains we called the movie theatre room for the toddlers and they loved it. The view from the deck and the hot tub were great for the adults for relaxing. Master bedroom is a great size and bunk beds are even comfortable. We would rent again! Thank you

Everything was excellent!

We were there for our boy's 9th bday getaway and this property was amazing. It has an amazing view! we were so lucky that it was snowing for 2 days and kids love it. It's very roomy for 10 people! Communication with Jennifer was excellent and fast! The house has heater central system so that's a plus! considering that other cabins only have the chimney as a heating system. There was a little problem with the streaming at first with the TV on the living room but went back on track after. I will definitely stay again there!

The layout of the house is Perfect, and was very clean, plenty of amenities inside and outside the property. The layout and space of the house was great for 5 adults and 5 kids. The owners described the property perfectly and provided accurate pictures to help visually see it before renting it. We had a great time this past weekend and would recommend this property to my friends and family!

Great Property and Location!

We truly enjoyed this property during our weekend stay. The property was nicely located in a great community, had great views to big bear mountain, the exterior amenities were perfect, Nice and clean upon arrival, plenty of space for 5 adults and 5 kids, and nice lay out of the actual living space! The house was nicely equipped with the necessary appliances, and kitchen utensils. Thank you for a great experience at this property!

Clean and updated

I've stayed at several houses in Big Bear in the past, and this one was by far the best. A lot of places I had stayed were dated and old, but this house was very clean and updated. I would love to stay again. The only complaint I had was that I had sent messages a few times asking what type of coffee maker was at the house, but I never got a reply.

Great house and great location!

I will make this short and sweet. This was a great rental. Great house and location. Easily handled our group if 7 people. The place was super clean and very well decorated and stocked with all the essentials. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

A Great Place To Get Away

The house was clean and comfortable.The only thing that would make it better was if there were towels for the hot tub...instead of having to use the bath towels. Also...the driveway is a bit steep...I can't imagine pulling in and out of that in the winter with any snow.We would definitely come back there was nothing far the best house I have stayed in in Moonridge

Lovely family weekend

Cabin was awesome, pictures match what you see in the real life. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 kids having a weekend stay in this cabin, since first look we all were in love with this place, little ones enjoyed the snow by the morning and had a gorgeous playing time in the mountain behind. Very well maintain and organized, we loved this cabin it has only one floor so it was very safe for our little ones, 2 comfortable living rooms one for kids and one for adults. Since snow was quiet dense, deck just in the back entrance before cleaning room was really appreciated to leave our wet cloths out of the kitchen. A couple of minor issues, we did not have a blended to prepare our meals, so we have to go out to buy one in K-Mart. One additional suggest it will be even great to have a nice pool table or so, to make it funny. We definately plan to come back next year.

The rental staff was very easy to work with as well. Another plus that we didn't anticipate was easy access to hiking trails. It was a quiet location on a quiet road.
