Sandy Cove is a charming semi-detached cottage, on a quiet estate, close to village amenities and the beach, in the village of Beadnell in Northumberland. This cottage sleeps six people and has four bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom and two single bedrooms, as well as a first floor family bathroom and a ground floor family shower room. This delightful cottage has a fitted kitchen, a utility room and a sitting room with dining area and open fire. To the outside of this cottage, there is an enclosed rear garden with furniture and off road parking for three cars. Sandy Cove is the perfect base for all the family, with many attractions close by. Note: Leisure passes are available for the Ocean leisure club and can be purchased at reception during your stay. Please note: bookings between April and October must be a 7 night minimum. Please visit the Ocean leisure club to arrange leisure passes and mention the properties name when purchasing. Prices of 2025 Adults:£9 Children:£4.50 Children under 2 Free, but please note that they are subject to change.
The Neighborhood:
This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
