Lambrooke Gardens, the Elizabethan Montecute House, and Forde Abbey, a Medieval Monastery, are just a few of the National Trust sites and points of interest in the area. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, the Haynes Motor Museum, the town of Glastonbury, and the natural wonders of Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves are all within easy driving distance. A day trip to the historic city of Bath or the Jurassic Coast town of Lyme Regis in the county of Dorset is also highly recommended.
