Location

The property is situated in the small seaside town of Capalbio Scalo on the southern Tuscan coast. The town lies along the Tyrrhenian Sea and serves as the coastal counterpart to the historic hilltop town of Capalbio (a 10-minute drive inland), where medieval walls, narrow streets and panoramic views create one of Tuscany’s most charming villages.

Known for its long, unspoilt sandy beaches, backed by dunes and Mediterranean pine forest, the coastline around Capalbio Scalo is natural and uncrowded compared to more developed resorts. While Capalbio Scalo itself is quiet and low-key, you’ll find small beach clubs, cafés and simple restaurants nearby. The closest beach is a 7-minute drive away. Guests will also find a supermarket, an ice cream store and a cafe all within a minute\'s walk.

The nearby Burano Lake Nature Reserve (a 7-minute drive) (Lago di Burano) offers walking trails, birdwatching and scenic landscapes of wetlands and coastal lagoons. For culture guests can head to Giardino dei Tarocchi (Tarot Garden), a colourful sculpture park created by artist Niki de Saint Phalle (a 10-minute drive).
