The Space:

Just steps from the shoreline of Vagionia Bay, set within a large private garden, the house offers a stay shaped by space, privacy, and a constant connection to the sea.



Originally built in 1890 and renovated in 2018, the house blends its stone structure and natural materials with updated interiors, following the latest trends in design and technology. It features inverter air-conditioning throughout, ceiling fans, and a 49-inch Smart TV, combining comfort with the character of the original home.



Inside, the living area and kitchen form one open space, with views toward the garden and the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a large refrigerator and dishwasher, making it easy to cook and dine at your own pace.



There are two separate bedrooms. The main bedroom features a large double bed, while the second bedroom includes two single beds that can be joined into a double. In the living area, three sofa beds provide additional sleeping space, allowing the house to host up to seven guests comfortably. The bathroom includes a double washbasin and a walk-in glass shower.



Outside is where the experience unfolds. The 1,650 m² fully fenced garden surrounds the house, offering both privacy and a sense of openness, with the pine forest extending all the way to the sea. Different areas of the property naturally become part of your day:

The bay is part of a protected archaeological zone, meaning the landscape remains untouched by new development. This gives the area a timeless quality - open, peaceful, and unchanged over the years. The bay itself dates back to ancient times, when it served as a landing point for those visiting the Temple of Poseidon, with remnants of this history still present in the wider area. In later centuries, the same sheltered bay became a base for pirate activity, and even today it appears on nautical maps as “Barbaria Bay,” reflecting its long maritime past.



Life here moves at a slower pace. The beach right in front of the house is quiet and clean, with a mix of pebbles and soft sand, and even in high season it remains uncrowded. The easiest way to reach the property from the port of Galatas, where you take a short ferry crossing to Poros. The crossing takes only a few minutes and runs frequently throughout the day.



A car is recommended during your stay, as the house is set in a more secluded location and there is no direct public transport to the bay. Taxis are available, with rides to and from Poros town typically costing around €15.
