Charming Barn Annex with Stables New Forest Escape
Cosy one-bedroom self-contained annex set on a peaceful smallholding just minutes from the New Forest National Park. Ideal for couples, solo travellers or small families, it features a private entrance, ample parking, comfortable living space and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy walking, cycling or simply relaxing in the countryside. Stabling for up to two horses makes it perfect for equestrian stays and rural escapes.
The space
Enjoy a peaceful stay in this stylish countryside barn/annex, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. Set within a timber-clad building, the property features a private entrance, warm outdoor lighting, and a landscaped path leading to the front door. Set within a working smallholding surrounded by open fields, greenery, and mature trees, it offers a calm and private setting—perfect for a relaxing escape in nature.
Inside, the bright open-plan living space sits beneath a charming sloped ceiling, creating a cozy loft feel while remaining light and airy. Skylights and a large window fill the room with natural light and offer lovely views across the countryside. The space combines a comfortable lounge area with a large sofa and soft furnishings, alongside a dining table for four—ideal for relaxing or enjoying meals together.
The spacious bedroom continues the calm, loft-style design and features a luxurious super king bed with soft, warm-toned bedding. A skylight brings in natural light, while a dressing table, mirror, and storage provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The compact kitchen is smartly designed with stylish grey cabinetry and integrated appliances, including an oven, hob, and sink—perfect for easy, self-catered stays.
Completing the space is a sleek, modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, contemporary fittings, and clean finishes, offering a fresh, hotel-like feel.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire barn conversion, including the open-plan living space, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The property benefits from its own separate gated and securely locked entrance, ensuring privacy throughout your stay.
You’ll also have use of the adjoining stable block if required. A public footpath (owned by the property) provides a short walk directly from the doorstep, and guests can walk, ride, or cycle straight into the New Forest National Park, just five minutes away.
For guests travelling with horses, limited outdoor grazing may be available on request, subject to prior agreement and proof of up-to-date vaccinations and worming. There is also plenty of space for horse lorries and trailers.
On-site parking is available.

Equestrian stays
We welcome guests travelling with horses. Stabling is available at £50 per horse, per night, including a stable, bedding, hay, and water for the duration of your stay.
Additional grazing may be available on request for an extra charge, subject to availability.
Stabling must be arranged in advance. Horses must have up-to-date vaccinations and worming, with proof provided prior to arrival.
Please note that horse owners are fully responsible for their animals at all times, and we accept no liability for horses while on the property. A secure, locked tack room is available for guest use.

No unregistered guests permitted to stay overnight.
