great position, just 10 minutes walk from big ben and westminster abbey, quiet place, tesco is just around the corner for all you may need, the structure is for students in winter and they rent the rooms in summer, the carpet in the rooms are old but almost ok, they have shared bathrooms but many per floor, and always clean by the propiety, the shared kitchen are small but only if you need it, if you don't like uk coffee you may do just that.... but keep your own coffee machine... the elevator is very old and narrow but works, the place is really quiet in the evening, they don't have air conditionator, just fan in the room. totally we've been very fine there, the receptionists are really really kind. the price may be a little lower maybe but it's ok at all, if you think that you stay there for visit the city not to stay in the room. victoria station is less than 15 minutes walking so if you get a train from gatwick the place is really close, is a nice walk, waterloo station is the same less than 15 minutes walking, a nice walk also there, westminster tube is between the hostel and the waterloo station, so if you don't need go to waterloo is bettere, but you are in london, you're always amazed by everything, and the walk is worth!! and this structure is really in a strategic position, expecially if you read other places, maybe more central, but where you hear about drunk people screaming at night... the neighbour is safe, we walked at night never problems.
