The trendy Exmouth market is right down the road with excellent places to dine and shop.
There are several tube stations within walking distance. Farringdon, Angel, Russell Square & Kings Cross. Several bus stops located right outside. Farringdon also has a direct train to and from Gatwick Airport. Russell Square is on the Piccadilly line which goes directly to Heathrow Airport. There is Pay & Display parking outside the flat.

Nice appartement well designed and decorated, clean and bright. Two defects to be signaled: The noise when somebody is in the above appartement and the temperature of the shower which is too hot without the possibility to cold it. Exept that, it is a lovely appartement.

Cozy Flat in the Heart of London – Great Stay and Amazing Host!

We had such a great stay at this cozy little flat right in the heart of London. The location was perfect—super central with plenty of great food and sights nearby. We tried the kebab place just downstairs and it was delicious!The flat was very clean, comfortable, and just right for two people. Gina was a fantastic host—easy to get in touch with and really thoughtful. She left us some simple breakfast items, which was such a nice touch, and even surprised us with a bottle of wine and fresh flowers when we arrived. It really made us feel welcome.All in all, a wonderful experience. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting London!

Live like a local

Great location; less than half mile from the Tube and several bus options within steps. No shortage of places to dine or drink within walking distance. I would suggest a eye sleep mask as the streetlight outside does stream in from behind bedroom shade. There is also an apt above so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Second time at the flat

It was our second time at Gina's apartment. We love the place and the neighborhood. It is very well-connected to the city center and many tourist attractions. When we entered, it was spotless, with fresh flowers and a bottle of prosecco—a nice touch. Exmouth Market is one of our favorite areas in London, so if you want to explore it or just visit London, this is the place to go.

Location 9/10 but overall Stay only 3/10The location is very good and I give it 9/10 for easy access to buses to get around London. Unfortunately our stay was let down by the various appliances within the flat not working properly and I can only give the apartment a 3/10 because of this. The washing machine did not work at all and Gina advised that the last guests broke it when we enquired - even though a previous review indicated that it hadn’t been working back in September which was 3 months prior to our stay – so correct information was not given to us. The hot water system also seems to lose internal pressure over time so when we arrived at the flat there was no hot water for showering or washing – correcting the issue is quite simple, however when it first happens you have to contact Gina and wait for her to respond with you how to do the fix. Other things wrong in the flat were that the coffee maker leaks water all over the bench top when being used as it must have an internal leak (previously noted in reviews), the internet is slow in the evening (previously noted in reviews), which means you cant watch television as the TV freezes after about 2 minutes of use - and the Toaster will only work if you stand by it and hold the lever down all the time, as it pops up as soon as you take your finger off that lever. It is also noisy from the above flat when those people make noise. Overall, I would not book this apartment again and I cant recommend it. Disappointing.

Not the best place I have rented but not the worst. Very tiny and it was only myself for 5 nights. The place is cute and very clean but shabby and shows signs of wear. That didn't bother me so much. Negatives... the internet is not great. You cant watch TV in the evening because the connection is not strong enough. But had no issue with my laptop unless I tried to stream something. The coffee maker leaks and needs replaced. There is a lot of noise if people are in the flat above you. There are very bright street lights outside; one that shines directly on the bed and isn't blocked by the shade. I just slept with my head at the foot of the bed. If you go out when it is dark and the stairwell light is not on, be very careful. The stairs can be treacherous. The positives... I liked the location and lots of places to eat. There are tube stations within a 15 minute walk. Very nice amenities and plenty of hot water. I loved the very firm mattress. The bedroom is VERY quiet if no one is up, walking around above you. Not perfect but it was fine for my stay.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I booked this flat based on the glowing reviews & the “Premier Host” badge. We had issues with poor communication & received check-in instructions hours before leaving from the US & only after contacting VRBO support. The listing was misleading: it implied a ground-floor unit with a “garden,” but it’s up two narrow flights of stairs, & the “garden” is a small balcony with artificial turf. This should be disclosed for guests with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. A working washer was a must for our 2-week trip, but she knew it was broken & didn't inform us ahead of time. The host offered to reimburse us for using a recommended nearby laundry service, but after submitting the receipt & following up multiple times she hasn't responded. The internet was unreliable & the unit is TINY. There was almost no storage & we has to use the kitchen counters for most of our clothes & other items. The bed was a small, very firm double with uncomfortable pillows, & there was a bright light shining into the bedroom at night right where you sleep preventing us from having a restful sleep for our 7 nights. This was our worst vacation rental experience in over 10 years & I don't understand why these important issues were not clearly noted in previous reviews. I’ve contacted VRBO for resolution as the host hasn’t responded in over a week. I hope this honest review helps others make a more informed decision so it doesn't ruin your vacation as it did to ours.
