The heart of the house is the large common area, featuring a kitchen, a long table with room for everyone, and a sofa corner where you can put your feet up and completely unwind. On sunny days, the large folding doors facing south can be slid open, allowing the cottage, wooden deck, and garden to blend seamlessly together.
Inside, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms with double beds. One of them has direct access from the large covered terrace.
The cottage has terraces facing east, south, and west, so you can enjoy the sun all day long. The east and west terraces are covered, providing shelter, shade, and the opportunity to be outside in almost any weather. The south terrace is partially covered and perfect for long, sunny summer days.
The house is located in the attractive Norsminde area, just 200 meters from Nordstranden, where you can jump into the water from the swimming pier. If you prefer a sandy beach, Sydstranden is 800 meters away—about five minutes on one of the cottage’s retro bikes. Along the beach, there are benches where you can enjoy the view and perhaps spot seals or porpoises along the coast.
Norsminde Harbor is about a 10-minute walk from the house. Here you’ll find a fish market, restaurant, ice cream shop, and plenty of activity with boats, crab fishing, and a lively harbor atmosphere. The area is perfect for both relaxation and activities, with a beach, forest, harbor, fjord, hiking trails, and dining options all within walking distance. If you’re looking for more urban life, Moesgaard Museum, ARoS, and Marselisborg Forest are all within easy driving distance.
