Unique holiday home in Chiemgau mountains

Chiemgau - that is the cultural landscape around Lake Chiemsee in Upper Bavaria, at the foot of the foothills of the Alps. There is actually everything here except the sea - and yet Lake Chiemsee is called the Bavarian Sea. You can swim in the many bathing lakes in the region, go for a walk in the endless forests or really go hiking! High above, you can look deep and far into the beautiful mountain landscape, where small villages with their church towers rise into the open blue sky.

But it is a cultural landscape for a reason: almost nowhere else are there so many castles, museums and fortresses to visit as in Upper Bavaria!

And in this idyll of quiet country life and clear mountain air lies the small farm and with it Bettina's unique vacation home, just a few kilometers south of Lake Chiemsee. The house is a true gem: the modern architecture in the Chiemgau, Scandinavian-style, pure and yet cozy - here you feel immediately at home. This is contributed by the loving furnishings with many small details, the high-quality materials that have been processed both indoors and outdoors and create a special charm.

The large, sunny living and dining room with open kitchen offers plenty of space and seating in front of the large windows, which provide an impressive view of the mountains and valley. Here you will find space to linger and relax, get together with friends or just have a few quiet days away with your favorite person.

Three bedrooms can accommodate 6 people, the kitchen is perfectly prepared for boisterous cooking evenings and the house offers many secluded offsites with space to work and get creative. Heading southwest is the rooftop terrace, where you can do yoga or relax on the sun loungers, or go downstairs and enjoy the terrace in the garden - here you'll find a grill, a fire bowl, and plenty of space for long, calming hours overlooking the mountains.
