Overall, our stay at unit 23 in Palm Bay Resort was great. The unit was clean and well-stocked. However, we did have one complaint: the comforter in the master bedroom had a blood stain and some other unknown white substance on the inside (the side that touches the bed sheets). We promptly called the office to request a replacement comforter and new bed sheets. Unfortunately, they were not very receptive to our complaint and insisted that it wasn’t their responsibility to change the bed sheets; we would need to do it ourselves. Frustrated, we asked for a manager to call us back, as this situation was unacceptable. After about 10 minutes, two workers arrived at our door with clean sheets. Neither of them spoke English. Moments later, a third worker, who had limited English proficiency, changed our sheets and removed the stained comforter. Surprisingly, no other issues arose during the rest of our stay. Our feedback is that the office staff should be more attentive to renters’ complaints and avoid being combative.
