Step inside to find a home full of period character. The living room invites you to sink into striped sofas beside a cast-iron fireplace, with a crystal chandelier overhead and a wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix for cosy evenings. Wood floors, exposed beams and original fireplaces run throughout, while soft carpets warm the bedrooms upstairs. It is a generous, easy-going space made for big groups gathering together.

Set in rolling Shropshire countryside just outside the historic market town of Shifnal, this is a peaceful base with quiet country lanes and easy access to family days out. The town centre is about a 25 to 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive, with traditional pubs, restaurants and a train station.

Good to Know Before You Book
This is a historic period property, so you will notice some characterful quirks throughout, including original fireplaces, uneven floors and the natural features that come with a building of this age. The manor sits in a rural setting, so a car is recommended for getting around. Access is via a private road that forks at the end, so please keep left onto the gravel drive and continue until you reach the metal gates. Self check-in is via a keypad at the front door, with full instructions sent before arrival. There are stairs to the upper-floor bedrooms and bathrooms. Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome at an extra charge. No smoking anywhere on the property, and no parties or events.

Extra charges
Pets are welcome at £15 per pet per stay, up to a maximum of 2. Please include any pets when making your booking.

Booking policy
Guests are not required to pay a security deposit for this stay, however, we reserve the right to charge up to £200 to the card on file in the case of any damage or excess mess. Please take care and tidy up after yourself during your stay.

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
