Originally the home and artistic sanctuary of acclaimed Greek artist Christos Karas, the residence has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its heritage while introducing contemporary elegance throughout. Original artwork displayed in the bedrooms and striking sculptures positioned across the terraces pay tribute to the property's creative legacy, while refined furnishings, soft colour palettes, and carefully curated interiors create a sophisticated retreat overlooking the Aegean.



Spanning approximately 300 square metres across three distinct levels, Beachfront Villa Ondyrelis comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. The upper level features a sea-facing double bedroom, two bathrooms, a bright living area with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and access to an expansive terrace with panoramic 180-degree sea views. The middle level includes a luxurious master suite with a private bathroom featuring both bathtub and shower, a lounge area, kitchenette, an additional connecting double bedroom, and a further independent en-suite double bedroom. Traditional stone archways frame the balcony and spacious patio areas. The ground floor offers two independent en-suite double bedrooms sharing a kitchenette and opening onto a large courtyard surrounded by Mediterranean planting and coastal vistas.



Throughout the villa, guests will find air conditioning, Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, multiple kitchen and kitchenette facilities, coffee machines, dishwashers, ovens, dining areas, and beautifully appointed indoor and outdoor living spaces. Large terraces and courtyards provide exceptional settings for private celebrations, intimate gatherings, wellness retreats, or simply enjoying the ever-changing views across the sea.



Additional services include room service and the option of breakfast served directly to the accommodation. The villa enjoys direct access to the waterfront, while Avlaki Beach is just a short stroll away. Hydra Port, the historic George Kountouriotis Manor, charming cafés, restaurants, and local attractions are all within easy reach. Profitis Ilias Monastery can also be visited nearby for those wishing to explore more of the island's cultural heritage.



Please note that Hydra is a car-free island, adding to its unique and peaceful character. A refundable security deposit of €300 is required upon arrival and is collected in cash. The deposit will be returned in full at check-out, subject to a satisfactory property inspection. Children of all ages are welcome, however cots and extra beds are not available. The minimum check-in age is 18 years. No smoking is permitted within the villa.
