Island Funへようこそ。毎日の祝福！ SGIの西端に位置するこの居心地の良いコテージは、4つのベッドルームと2つのバスルームを備えたオープンリビングとダイニングのコンセプトで、オールレベルの家族の集まりに最適です。 キングマスターと、クイーンサイズベッドとフルサイズベッドが備わる2つのベッドルームが、オープンデッキに向かって開いています。 4番目のベッドルームには二段ベッド1台が備わり、キッチンエリアのすぐそばに位置しています。 開放されたデッキとリビングルームのすぐそばにある大画面のポーチから、SGI橋と湾の景色を眺めながらリラックスできます。 湾へは徒歩3分、ビーチへは11ブロックのビーチへは2ブロック以上です。 毛皮の赤ちゃんを洗い流すために魚の清掃ステーションと屋外シャワーもあります！

Close to the bay, but an easy walk to the beach. The golf cart is a nice edition. There are actually 4 bedrooms in the house, but one is small and off the kitchen. It has the bunk beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! Nice comfortable place. Golf cart was a plus. Could have potential problem. Cart starts to bump or skip(electric?). Might consider a gas grill to accompany the grill top cooker.

Great place, clean, and bigger than I expected. There’s actually 4 bedroom, but the kids room doesn’t have a closet so I’m guessing that’s why it was listed as a 2 bedroom. Kids room is right off the kitchen/open living room, which isn’t great when the kids are trying to get to sleep, but there’s plenty of porches so it’s not bad—just something to know. A little further from downtown area, but not bad. There’s a really nice sunset spot down the street at the kayak launch.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—conveniently situated between the bay & the beach. It was very clean, with all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the available golf cart & grill. Being pet friendly was also a huge plus for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!

Perfect location for both the bay and the beach. Golf cart was a huge help. Beautiful home with everything we needed! It was our first visit to the island and we will definitely be back!

Adult Getaway

Nice clean house. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Golf cart was nice to have. Only complaint is location. Expected it to be closer to lighthouse area of island. We did have a great time tho.

Property was as described. Kitchen was well stocked. Great location between bay and ocean. Great asset to have golf cart. Back deck with great views of bay and screened porch on side. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing 4th of July stay

It was not advertised well. It was like staying in a college apartment instead of a vacation home. The details were what really made the house very poor. For example, there was only a roll of toilet paper provided in each bathroom, no propane in the grill tank, a paddle for the kayak was broken, light switches in the house didn’t turn on anything, and the house just needed some TLC from the owners. The walls were scratched up in many places, spider webs in corners, etc. The outdoor table and chairs on the porch left paint on your clothes and legs. There were no doors on the closets leaving two of the bedrooms looking unfinished. The yard had not been cleaned or touched in weeks of not months. The outdoor space was messy and beach toys, hoses, and other items were scattered throughout the underneath portion of the house. Not what we expected at all. Overall, a very disappointing house to stay in. We won’t book there again.

Overall really nice

The house was super nice, and the amenities were fantastic. Everything worked like it was supposed to. The floors were not really clean. The only grill was a Hibachi type grill, which no one really knew what to do with. We bought a charcoal grill and left it for future tenants who wanted a grill that they could actually use.

The property overall was everything we expected and more. The owners have kept everything in excellent order and have made some significant upgrades as well. We had a great time and will be back in the future.

Stunning sunsets.

I really liked the layout of this house and would love to stay with family. Having everyone on the same level with a central area is nice. Lots of deck space.The yard could use some tender loving care. The sunset were amazing.

Well Equipped Rental

We were in the area for a wedding, staying 3 nights. It rained, monsoon-style for 2 of the days. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for 5 adults. The wrap around porch was a wonderful place to enjoy the views. It was located very close to either side of the island waters and not far from the local town. Unfortunately the golf cart electrical got wet in the storm and was not useful. We would stay here again should the need arise.

Great Weekend Trip

We had a great weekend trip and stay at Island Fun! The house had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend on the island. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked, and views from all the decks were beautiful! The kids loved riding the golf cart to explore the island. We will definitely stay here again if we return to St. George.

All about amenities

We loved the outdoor shower. We appreciated saving money on rentals for a Kayak, paddeleboad and golf cart. What we did not appreciate was a screened in porch that was not a deterrent to the palmetto bugs. The porch floor should be screened too and can be easily done. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. The floor was gritty with sand (a new broom is needed) and the doors should have been wiped down. The windows were smudged where someone wiped them down but did not rinse the glass. There were a doz. potholders but only two hand towels. No big bowls for salad or mixing. Some of the bedding had stains on them and most of the picture were hanging crooked. The house is built in a swampy area. When it rained there was no where to walk ones dogs or even get out of the property without getting your feet or shoes wet.

Everyday Blessings is a blessing

Although our stay was cut short with the hurricane, the house was wonderful! Great location, convenient to everything, clean, well stocked with everything you need. Very thankful for the hospitality of the owners. Highly recommend.

Island Fun

We loved St. George Island!! Would love another vacation in this beautiful place. The house suited our family well and w loved the location-steps from the bay and short walk to beach only negative is that it could have been cleaned better and porch es set up. Also the hull cover on kayak was missing so we couldn’t use it

So many memories made!!

Our family loved our stay the week of July 4!! There was plenty of room for lots of us and having the golf cart (free of charge) and the paddle board was wonderful. We never used the kayak. The owner was very respondent with anything we needed. Every VRBO I’ve stayed in has had a few different ways of doing things so I’ll say make sure to take your own TP, garbage bags, dishwasher pods,etc. I think the housecleaning crew working for this owner is also taking advantage of the possibility that the owners cannot put their eyes on this property often and they are doing a rushed job, but I expressed my concerns about specifics with them personally. I love this quiet area of the bay. Views are great (but sometimes hot) from the three main bedrooms. Golf cart ride is quick to beach access 11 or 10 where we usually were. The outdoor shower was great and there are also a lot of extra toys and beach stuff plus a water hose behind the shower. As business owners ourselves (my husband) we know that some other people don’t take care of their own belongings, let alone other peoples. I hope that the cleaning businesses stop trying to do too many homes in too short of time and start taking a little more care with the people who hire them and their homes and guests AND communicate needs with owners.
