The kitchen and dining area is a practical and sociable space, ideal for easy breakfasts before heading out, relaxed evening meals, or a takeaway after a beach day. The dining table seats 6 guests, making it a lovely spot to gather together.



Upstairs, Heron House has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and its own en-suite, giving guests a little extra comfort and privacy. There is also a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a further single bedroom, making the layout particularly well suited to families or guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements.



The property also benefits from a family bathroom with a bath, ideal for a relaxing soak or for bathing younger children after a sandy day at the beach. There is also a downstairs cloakroom, adding extra convenience during your stay.

The Neighborhood:

Heron House is located on the Pebble Beach estate in Seaton, close to Tesco and within easy reach of the seafront, town centre and local amenities. Pebble Beach is described as being around 500 metres from the beach, giving guests a short, level walk to Seaton’s long pebble beach and promenade.



Seaton is a relaxed seaside town on the Jurassic Coast, known for its pebble beach, traditional promenade and calm waters. It is a lovely choice for guests who want the coast, local walks and everyday conveniences close by, without the busier feel of larger resorts.



The beach and Esplanade are home to cafés, shops, fish and chips and places to enjoy an ice cream by the sea. Seaton town centre also offers independent shops, cafés, eateries and local businesses, making it easy to pick up essentials, enjoy a meal out, or wander into town for a coffee.



For everyday shopping, Tesco Superstore is on Harbour Road, very close to Pebble Beach and handy for stocking up during your stay.



Seaton is also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Guests can enjoy coastal walks, visit nearby Beer, explore the Axe Valley, or take a trip on Seaton Tramway, which runs from Seaton to Colyton through the Axe Valley.



Getting Around:

Heron House is well placed for guests who like to walk. From the Pebble Beach estate, the beach, promenade, Tesco, town centre, cafés, pubs and local shops are all within easy reach, so you can enjoy much of Seaton on foot.



For guests arriving by car, Seaton is a convenient base for exploring East Devon and the Jurassic Coast, with nearby places such as Beer, Axmouth, Colyton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth all popular day trips.



The nearest railway station is Axminster. Bus services connect Axminster Station with Seaton, with journey times typically around 25 to 30 minutes depending on the service.



Local bus services also connect Seaton with nearby towns and villages, including Beer, Colyton and Axminster. The 885 route serves Axminster, Seaton, Colyton and Beer.



For a more scenic way to explore, Seaton Tramway runs for 3 miles between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton through the Axe Valley, making it a lovely day out as well as a memorable way to see the local countryside.
