La Casa di Giulia

Located on the second floor (accessible by lift) of a recently refurbished, traditional-style building, the ‘La casa di Giulia’ flat in Borghetto Santo Spirito is spread over two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people. An ideal choice, particularly for a family beach holiday, for those wishing to enjoy the comfort of a modern, cosy and fully equipped home situated a short distance (1 km) from the beaches of western Liguria.

The layout

Thanks to clever use of the interior space, Giulia’s home accommodates three separate rooms, as well as a bathroom, within its 44 m². On the lower level, you’ll find the living room with an open-plan kitchen and the bathroom, whilst on the upper floor – accessed via a convenient staircase – there are two bedrooms.

The tour begins in the living area. The room, which is well lit and airy thanks to a French window opening onto a small terrace overlooking the village and offering sweeping views, features a sofa bed (providing two additional sleeping places) situated opposite a large smart TV, whilst closer to the window is the open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with a fridge and freezer, an induction hob, an electric oven and a dishwasher. There are also other small appliances such as a coffee machine and a kettle. Opposite the kitchen is the dining table, which can seat all the guests. The bathroom is also fully equipped: washbasin, toilet, bidet and a nice shower cubicle. There is also a washing machine in the flat.

On the upper, attic-style floor are the two bedrooms, each with an electric Velux mechanism operated by remote control to darken the roof windows. The first room is the double bedroom, which, in addition to the bed, features a large wardrobe and a second television; the second, which is slightly smaller, is furnished with two single beds.  This bright flat has been recently refurbished and furnished with modern, functional furniture. It is equipped with air conditioning, with split units in every room (which also provide heating during the winter months). Unlimited Wi-Fi is available. It also has a double garage, which is also accessible via the lift. 

The area: Loano and Pineland

The neighbourhood known as Pineland is situated just behind Loano and Borghetto Santo Spirito. The road running through Pineland is lit day and night and has very little traffic, with small villas and olive trees all around. The climate here is exceptionally mild in both summer and winter. The sea is very close by: just over a kilometre away.

The nearest major town is Loano, characterised by the chic, cosmopolitan atmosphere of its seafront promenade, its famous Marina del Porto Turistico and its long, well-equipped beaches. Just a few minutes away lie the jewels of the Riviera delle Palme, such as Finale Ligure, Noli, Borgio Verezzi and Varigotti.
