The pictures do not do the Rhody House justice! It was such a charming, well equipped, and comfortable cabin, despite being in a remote area. The Rhody House is the perfect place to explore harder to get to places in North Cascades National Park, including the Cascade Pass area. We were very impressed with how fast the wifi was, and we loved how peaceful and quiet the cabin was. I can see why it stays booked up! We will definitely try to stay here again if we come back to the North Cascades area. Thanks to Steve for being such a fantastic host and sharing his amazing cabin with visitors!

The cabin was amazing. They really have thought of everything so far as amenities. Very comfortable furnishings. Great location for exploring North Cascades NP. Overall fantastic experience.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We stayed at Rhody House to hike in the Northern Cascades . It was a perfect location! The house is immaculate; one of the best in the way of cleanliness and comfort that we have had the pleasure of staying in. The property owner communicated very promptly. Check in and out was very easy. The website does not do the house justice. I would stay again if ever in Northern Cascades .

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was close to the park along with dining options and gas in town. All appliances were in good working condition and the house was clean and cozy. Communication with the property manager was excellent and he accommodated a small request immediately for us. Definitely recommend.

Great base camp for North Cascades

This beautiful, secluded cabin is a relaxing spot to return to after a day in the park. We found the cabin was well set up for enjoying wine on the porch or preparing meals. We drove across the one lane bridge and drove on the paved portion of road for some scenic views (especially at the overlook). This cabin has it all - inside and out.

Super cute cabin, we did lots of exploring the Northern cascades! At the house we also saw a bear and mountain lion in the backyard which was super cool!

We spent four nights here and loved it. The cabin is cozy and very functional as well. Having a real kitchen is nice. It is far enough back from the road to be quiet. Several evenings we sat on the porch with a beer. You are right there at North Cascades; it is a great hiking base. The only real negative is that Marblemount is very small, having only a couple of restaurants, and being 20 miles from a full grocery store (plan accordingly). I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great property

Great stay! Close to North Cascades visitor center, which was the reason for our trip. Kids loved staying at the “cabin” and seeing black tailed deers and coyotes right outside!

Peaceful and convenient setting

A very clean and spacious cabin/house with total privacy. Easy access from the highway and close to the NCNP and hiking trails. Owner is easily accessible if there are any issues. Kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware needed-however bring any foods/spices/etc as there is only S&P available at the cabin. Recommended for a long term accommodations.

We loved this cabin!

We loved our 4 night stay at the Rhody House. So comfortable. Great kitchen with everything you need. Plenty of towels too. Such a quiet, peaceful lot! We wanted to hike at the North Cascades National Park, and this was a great location with a few restaurants nearby, and a store for some groceries and a gas station. The pictures don't do it justice. It's really beautiful. We enjoyed it so much that our last day, we canceled our plans to hike and just stayed at Rhody House and relaxed. It was awesome! If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay there again. Also, it was spotless! Super clean. Highly recommend.

Lovely cabin in the woods

This cabin is by far one of the best we’ve ever stayed in through VRBO. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed, nice shower, everything we need in the kitchen, etc. Nice to sit in the porch and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful setting without being eaten alive by mosquitoes! Close to NCNP and the perfect place to start/end our days. Steve was super way to work with. Highly recommend.

We're a professional couple from Seattle, now retired after having founded and operated a national importing company for nearly 40 years. We enjoy travel and receiving our guests as we like to be received.

Marblemount and the North Cascades are close enough to our home in Seattle to provide overnight escapes in addition to longer wilderness experiences. Those escapes kept us sane during our business careers. And when we weren't in Marblemount, all we had to to do was close our eyes and imagine ourselves being there. We called that 'A Marblemount Moment.'

この宿泊施設の特徴

You will see a sign when entering Marblemount that says 'Last Services in 74 miles.' We're at the entrance to North Cascades National Park, idyllic, with restaurants and services close at hand.

Rhody House's five-acre wooded parcel was a beautifully landscaped homestead in the early-20th century that had been abandoned (thus all the mature Rhodies!). It has been a pleasure rediscovering and highlighting its unique beauty and tranquility.
