Welcome to your secluded, off-grid, riverside retreat in the gated community of Cascade River Park in Marblemount, Washington! Set along the picturesque Cascade River. This charming cabin offers a peaceful escape for nature lovers and those seeking a comfortable off-grid experience.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape while still enjoying modern luxuries and conveniences. The cabin features a well-equipped kitchen, coffee bar, wine bar and it comes complete with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Relax on the private deck, where you can do some grilling, soak in the fresh mountain air and savor the tranquil ambiance. Spend your evenings soaking in the wood-fired hot tub while listening to the sound of the river just a few feet away, stargazing or sharing stories around the fire pit, while creating cherished memories with your loved ones.

While nestled in nature, the cabin offers off-grid features such as propane for heating and cooking. A wood burning stove along with an all-natural, mineral based wood fired hot-tub. As well as a reliable backup generator to charge up the 24v batteries that power the cabins lights, tv's and internet. These amenities provide the perfect balance between comfort and a connection to the natural surroundings, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful retreat while still enjoying modern comforts.

Venture out and explore the nearby North Cascades National Park, renowned for its scenic hiking trails, majestic waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. Engage in fishing adventures, embark on scenic drives, embark on kayaking/rafting adventures or simply relax by the river's edge and let the sounds of nature rejuvenate your spirit.

You may be here to experience the North Cascades National Park, but this cabin will be the highlight of your trip.

Mother’s Day Getaway

What a lovely stay in the heart of the Cascades. From the sounds of the rushing Cascade River to the lovely cabin, wood burning hot tub and riverfront fire pit, it was a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend — a fun, eclectic collection of decor, a well equipped kitchen and a Japanese soaker tub.We were able to explore many trails and lakes of the North Cascade National Park. Cozy and Stunning

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Somnia Vera Riverside Cabin.Everything was as described and the cabin was so comfy and cozy. The river view was gorgeous and we saw bald eagles flying by everyday, as well as other wildlife; like Douglas Squirrels, a Goosander, and an American Dipper.Highly recommend and hopefully we'll be back for a summer stay

Great place for a getaway

We loved our stay. The property felt secluded, quiet and relaxing. The only downside was the shower… my 75 year old MIL could not get into it so she was unable to shower for 4 days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Great weekend getaway

This cabin was a perfect place to unwind and escape from everyday life. We stayed in February, and the whole place was covered in snow. We barely saw anyone else our entire time.It's nestled in the woods next to a little river and was a perfect place for my wife and two of our friends to get away. It had plenty of creature comforts (we made ample use of the coffee station) and was very clean.I highly recommend this listing for anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature.

North Cascades vacation

We had an amazing stay! The cabin is absolutely perfect. It's hard to upscale a national park, but this cabin might do it. The owner is very responsive, and the location is perfect. The cabin is absolute peace.

Perfect home base for Cascades NP

What an oasis. We had an amazing place to wind down after long hikes and paddling through the park. Place was very clean and comfortable and owner was very very responsive. I would recommend this beautiful place and will be back

Amazing House in Marblemount

This off the grid house was amazing. The river front, hot tub and location made this house a perfect fit for my wife and I. I have to say this was the best house on the block! What a treat to stay here.

Such a beautiful cabin! I was a little hesitant about the off-grid/generator run amenities, but the hosts made everything very straightforward and they have thought of everything! And we never dropped below 90% energy use of the house. If you are looking for a cozy stay near the national park, this is the perfect cabin!!

Perfect unplugged weekend

The property is stunning with unbeatable views! The kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking and the manual provided for house instructions was very intuitive. I will mention the house is off the grid (WiFi available) so take that into consideration. The host was communicative and we would definitely stay again

Relaxation by the river

This home is so nice! Everything is done thoughtfully. We loved the hot tub and candles and listening to the river. Close to Northern Cascades NP and lots of great hikes. Hosts were great with communication & had everything we needed for a lovely vacation.

A hidden gem.

The host has thought of every detail, to make this a great place to base camp while exploring the North Cascades or to simply relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. North Cascades Fall getaway

We Wanted to spend a couple nights in a cabin on the river while doing hikes in the North Cascades. we felt ourselves to be extremely fortunate to have found Somnia Vera Riverside retreat. The Perfect Cozy Cabin

This off the grid river cabin was absolutely perfect and even better than we expected! Instructions for the house were simple and easy to follow. We kicked off our North Cascades Hiking Trip with 4 nights here and we didn't want to leave. The hot tub was the best after long days of hiking and very soothing listening to the Cascade River. Every little detail is on point at this adorable cabin and we highly recommend!!!
