Bursting with charm and character, this traditional stone-built cottage has been renovated into a contemporary country retreat, perfect for couples and small families keen to explore the glorious Ayrshire countryside and coastline. There are plenty of scenic walks to explore across this stunning farmland setting. Pick up some fabulous local produce from the shops, cafes and restaurants in the sleepy town of Stewarton, less than a mile away. Located in wooded countryside in the Irvine Valley, the town of Galston (10.5 miles) is home to plenty of historic sites, including the magnificent Barr Castle and Loudon Kirk. Hidden inside the Ayr Gorge Woodland, formed around a magnificent red sandstone canyon, Peden's Cove (18.5 miles), a set of steps carved into the red sandstone cliffs, is a visit well worth making. The golden sands of Irvine Beach and Troon Beach can both be reached within 18 miles.
