David and Linda were a lovely couple who gave us a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went the extra mile for their guests. There is so much to see on the farm: horses, sheep, chickens, Guinea fowl, turkeys, and an aviary with budgies, canaries and quail. For rainy days David rigged up a barn so that guests could play badminton, table tennis, pool and table football. The day before we left, he completed his mini-golf course. We went for lovely walks in the 40 acres of woodland admiring the views of Arran and Ailsa Craig. David even set up a bench and table for us there so we could sit there at our leisure. We needed a quiet and peaceful break and this gave us what we needed. Our dog, Snowy, was made really welcome and had a good old fuss made of her. For others, you are in the heart of the countryside but only 20/30 minutes from the buzz of Glasgow or the Clyde Coast. Highly, highly recommend the Old Barn Farm.
